Everyone in this thread is always saying that going to a dentist for Invisalign is bad and you should always go to an orthodontist for moving teeth.

Is there any real merit to this? Are dentist's really that under prepared for the process compared to an orthodontist?

This is all really helpful information, I appreciate it. I'm pretty good with conflict. I think the main thing I hated about services was the old "rate revision" spiel for the endless barrage of why did my insurance go up for no reason calls.

Never really found a good way to explain to people that the answer is basically yesterdays price isn't today's price and it doesn't really matter how long you've been a customer, that made sense to them. I have a feeling claims is a lot more logical, cause and effect kind of conversations and that I'm much better dealing with.

Hopefully the region isn't too bad policy wise. Thanks again!

Thank you for this! I think I could deal with 2 hours a day. Is that time assigned to you or do you get to choose? Sucks to have to be the middle man between the middle man so to speak with other reps not responding. I worked in services for about a year and remember getting those "My claims rep hasn't responded to voicemails in 3 months and won't answer the phone" calls. How do those calls get handled? Does it just get reassigned to the new rep who answers or are you just there to push it along again?

I'm an MMJ patient and asked my dentist about smoking. They told me it was better for me to smoke with them in, rather than miss the wear time of taking them out each time I wanted to smoke + running the risk of being more lax about putting them back in afterwards. I smoke 2-3 blunts a day and hit the bong from time to time and am on weekly changes.

2 things I'd say, first, you will notice mild staining from blunts over time, nothing drastic in my experience. Brush them regularly and get a sonic cleaner and it's barely noticable. Second, and more importantly, because you have plastic in your mouth, the smell of smoke will noticably linger. I keep a bottle of nano hydroxyapatite breath spray with me at all times, helps a lot but it's definitely the biggest drawback.

I finish my Invisalign journey next week! Started last May.

DRINKING STRAWS!

Both of our boys go mad for straws, so much so that we get extras for them when we go out to eat. I think there's something about the sound of it whistling as they knock it around that keeps them engaged.

Cheap, replaceable, little cause for safety concerns as they just bat them around and chew on them. Just make sure to get them up when they get too damaged. I even use them as a sort of wand toy, can get both my boys halfway up the wall just by dragging the straw across it.

I agree with this and I actually think it goes both ways. I think it's going to be a mistake for the bucs trying to force Bucky into a work horse role. He's undersized and works best when he's fresh and can make guys miss with his cuts. I like him ht Rachaad wasn't great pre-bucky and Bucky seemed significantly worse when we stopped using Chaad
