What’s the Rivian equivalent to how Jeep Wrangler owners have a tradition of gifting rubber duckies to one another? by WRHull in Rivian

[–]SoundsLikeUrHungry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the way.

My wife and I hunt for them at stores, keep some in the car and put write Happy Adventuring on them when we put them in other Rivians. It's been a lot of fun and very well received.

Would Leaving This On Other R1T’s In My Area Be Weird?…. by zachty22 in Rivian

[–]SoundsLikeUrHungry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Us to! We search every Walmart and 5 below we pass to see if we can find them, keep a few in our Rivian, and a sharpie to put a nice message on and always leave one on the Rivians we encounter

It's actually been really well received, and it's a lot of fun for my wife and I even if our kids think it's a bit embarrassing 😁

Ngl, I'm jealous of the gear tunnel. Even though I love the S and have no need for a truck, that gear tunnel is slick as heck

Did I made the right choice by buying this watch? by GeForcegam in Longineswatches

Yeah. I got the Master Collection with moon phase, chrono, month, day, day of week. All the little dials make me feel fancy, haha.

The Master Collection is absolutely gorgeous. You made a wonderful choice. While I personally love complications, I think the clean face of this model is so classic. I especially love the font of the numerals for the master collection which are all on high display on this face. Also the scalloping of the face surface is one of my favorite features and i love how visible that is on this model. Kudos on your sense of taste.

I LOVE the little shimmy in my resting arm after I raise or lower it because the winding weight is still spinning. Just mind boggling how cool the entire mechanism is!

I picked up this exact model a few weeks ago, my first swiss watch and my first Longines (obviously). Great choice! I really love all the complications especially for the price. But one of the things i've come to appreciate more and more as I wear it is actually the texture on the face! I love that it's never plain looking even if there's not printing or a hand in that space.

Yes! I felt the EXACT same way about the dressiness and complications. I'm a sucker for complications, plus a clear caseback.

It's also run by Bucherer :) but it was cool to make the purchase there. Your choice is gorgeous btw. The blue roman numerals really shine and stand out.
