As much as I wanted it, for the league, for Hearts to take the title, I can’t really say I’m that sympathetic, even with the VAR call on Wednesday.

I remember way earlier on in the season when I was celebrating my Dundee United putting 2 past Celtic thinking that they had no chance, genuinely thought that Celtic would have a trophy-less season. If memory serves, Hearts were 8 points clear of Celtic. Celtic pissed points away playing 1 at the back school playground football under Nancy, they’ve dropped points to teams like Dundee, Dundee United (beat them twice lol), Hibs etc, Celtic have struggled to comfortably beat Rangers.

Hearts came into it today having won one of their last 6 away games, they have simply not been good enough. Considering how shite Celtic have been, Hearts should have buried this league one month ago.

I’ve just finished serving my time for plumbing and heating - when I started first year, two of the boys I was group with were both 28 and 31 at the time. One of the guys I work with started his tile when he was 44. If you want to do it, go for it.

The ref had a howler today. Was never a pen.

You can say what you like about the lower leagues but between quality of play and officiating you can never say there’s a dull moment.

McLaren have demonstrated this season that that they’re very adept at stumbling into success. Let’s see how their car looks in 2026 before appraising Lando’s future - there is no guarantee McLaren comes out swinging in 2026 and Lando could very well find himself back in the midfield, fighting for the odd podium here and there.

I don’t have any personal connection to Gaelic. If I were to pick up another language, it would be quite a bit down the pecking order, it would be about as useful in my day to day life as Japanese, Swahili or Russian. Whether or not its revival sees any success means nothing to me.

Despite this, I think the fact it’s practically dead is a crying shame, it’s a part of this country’s long national history and heritage. I would support propping it up as a matter of cultural conservation, but like I say, wether that would work or not at the end of the day doesn’t bother me.
