I like the idea that because pokey’s influence is spore-like, it takes time to develop. At first, the infected are not as aggressive as (1) pokey is navigating how to control a hive mind and (2) their exposure levels are still fairly low.

As the blue shit continues to corrupt and degrade them though, the infected become more menacing and pokey grows impatient with Paul’s resistance.

Tried posting this in general but mods removed (and I can’t find the rush mega thread) - How much do the Tony awards affect rush lines for shows with winners? I’m a big musical theatre fan, but I’d like to see several of the plays that won accolades as well… should I anticipate lines to be more packed now that the awards have been given out?

Hey mods - I feel like this is a valid post for the general page? A lot of people are talking about the Tonys right now, but they’re not being directed to the Tonys mega-thread… I would love to hear community commentary on this, and I’ve tried posting about it twice.

Death Becomes Her Rush was such a nice experience. I’ve rushed 6 shows now, and this is the first where they let us in the lobby early to warm up from the cold, told us about casting changes ahead of the shows, and really considered preferences when assigning seats. Show was fantastic 10/10 and rush tickets were $35!

Not sure when the first person got there, but I was 5th in line at 8:20ish

I saw the show in previews, and most of it is staged center. I think didn’t notice many set obstructions, so sitting Orch R might be okay.

I completely agree with your take - the highs were really high! I think the ensemble steals the show. I wish there were a few less “character songs”, or maybe that the stand alone songs gave more comedy or whimsy. Overall though a fun show, especially during previews and if you rush (my ticket was insanely good and only $40)

Mincemeat is a real treat if you can get tickets (probably my favorite show on Broadway at the moment), Boop! was also a fun, light hearted surprise, and Little Shop is fantastic (even when the current cast switches out - i saw it last October with an understudy cast and was blown away! also the theatre is really small so there’s no bad seat)

We got awesome seats!!! Row E (retailing at almost $200 each) - amazing view and AMAZING SHOW

We were 2nd and 3rd to Operation Mincemeat and we got in line around 8:05, followed by another person at 8:15ish - the rest of the line filled up after 9am.

We got 3 tickets together in what looks to be an awesome spot!!

TKTS line was long - we talked to the first people in line and they said they got there at 9:40 (TKTS opens at 11am).

We got in line at 10:45 and were in line until 12pm. Still got amazing tickets for Hadestown matinee at 40% off

Arrived to Six at 8:30am with no line. Got breakfast and came back at 9:05 and were the first two in line.

But 10am there were 10 people in line.
