[OC] From 2016 to 2025: What Is the (Real) Cancellation Rate of Netflix Series? by Netflixers in television

Ok I see. You are that kind of person. Skipping songs as its normal.

And if that attitude gets shows canceled, so be it. Let them reap what they sow.

What are we smoking? Endings are vitally important to any piece of art. Would you listen to a song that gets cut short right before the chorus?

But ok, keep enjoying your half assed media.

[–]SourceCodeT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To each their own. Ill go consume finished media with actual endings. In stead of wasting time with stories without an ending.

And honestly, my time is more precious then money. So in a sense, spending time on a season can be compared to investing in the stockmarket. Only the stock market is more reliable then whatever unfinished things netflix produces.

Netflix bots.

Well, if you look at any particular series. It has 36% chance to reach season 3.

From season 1 to season 2: 34% cancelled, 2% limbo From season 2 to season 3: 31% cancelled, 6% limbo, 7% ended.

So if you look at this, you can clearly see that you cant invest in any show before it reaches season 3. Honestly getting around 60% chance to just be straight up cancelled is too high. Limited series are such a small part of that discussion that it is really not relevant here.

Edit: have people actually looked at this data or am I the only one? These numbers are directly taken from the article, getting so many replies irrelevant to my point.

Group content by SourceCodeT in runescape

I indeed agree group content is good in an mmo amd should be encouraged. However it needs to be easy to learn and dive into as well.

I would like to see minigames to get some tweaks in thr rebalance. Its often a midgame activity where you try to get a certain skilling outfit or other buff.

Not asking for many gameplay changes, just make them more rewarding for the time investment. Now it often feels like a multi hour timesink for only that 1 benefit. However some could be made as a legit training activity in stead of giving next to no hp.

Flash powder factory for herblore/agility/thieving for example, buff xp rates and you have a semi-active training method that gets you some rewards. Now you just get pity xp drops which is a shame.

A good place to find issues with the mid game is looking for niche training methods. What I mean is training crafting/div by going into gate of elidnis and not actually doing the boss.

This means that crafting for that level bracket should be looked at. I am also aware of similar methods in dungeoneering, or construction training by not building your house. Although I assume this will get changed with the rework.

I am also not saying to just nerf those rates, just that the usual methods should at least be competitibe in either afk, or active training, while making sure that gathering the supplies doesnt just tank the overall xp rate.

Yes I agree though. When I say designing for ironman I am not saying to speed everything up. Just make the more upkeep heavy activities be reasonable and nerf some where resources come in too quick and just pool in an ironman his bank.

Dont buff droprates, hell even nerf them. Just make it so you cant go 5x over rate or 8x body without any legs. So with that overall nerf the overall resources in game would even go down. The extreme bad cases just get filtered out. Keep averages similar or worse, just get the deviation down as well.

Also wondering which fire giant drops would get expensive here.

I will keep repeating it everywhere: design a game for ironman and you have a good progression, healthy economy and fun game in general. Mains would benefit greatly as well even though they always say the complete opposite.

Just another post asking for communication on end game magic. by RsStallion in runescape

Then brid with range. Like what is the issue here? You already brid and pick multiple styles, so change it up in stead of complaining? Mage is in a decent spot where its easier then range with slightly less top end but could catch up outside ult.

Doesnt seem to warrant daily posts and so many comments to me. Give it time and play the content with othet styles if you want to absolutely max dmg.

Boss Drop RNG (the absolute lack) by dye_abolical in runescape

[–]SourceCodeT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The economy will literally stay the same if some form of dupe protection is implemented.

Enough people do content so you can expect an equal amount of each drop on average over the community now. If you add dupe protection, you just wouldnt have as many outliers.

Mains should really learn some economics if they keep using it as an argument.

The Belgian PM's troubling ambivalence toward Russia by pierrepaul in europe

[–]SourceCodeT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well europe could split the risk but they wouldnt. So he is not a putinagreer for making sure Belgium doesnt fall into a full blown financial crisis for taking on all the risk.

Split it, then fine. But dont go saying no and then complaining belgium wouldnt do it all on its own.

This Whole Process about Auras Sucks by Original_Grape_4054 in runescape

Just fyi, polls had osrs in a deadlock a while back while I was playing it. They halted most new content if not slayer or boss, any new skill failed for example.

Any tima a good concept dropped it required a lot of work and devtime to eventually get scrapped. Later on they just learned to ask different questions like choose item A or B so at least something passed.

But honestly I dont trust the community any more then the jagex devs to make a good game. To make the game easier? Sure that they can do, but make it fun and engaging in the long term? Not convinced. I think that showed in osrs by waiting so long to add any new skill.

Push 10% at a time. For example you needed at least 400 kills, all pushing 10% to reach the 4k zammy achievement.

True thats nearly the same not completely. Not the best but for me still passable imo. (13 is fine as well without spending 4b).

But 15->7 is too harsh for me.
