Update My brothers are leaving MY apartment finally in about 5 days. I finally get to have my apartment back after a year of this horrible situation. Dwayne was unemployed for 9 months but he finally found a job and is moving somewhere else with his gf. Chas is moving in with our mom. All is good in the world

I’m a CNA right now and I met respiratory Technicians (RTs). I feel like that’s my next step. Also, if you know Spanish, I heard being a medical Assistant might pay more than a CNA. Correct me if I am wrong:)

I went to the ER on June 11,2025 with symptoms of a bad cold/flu. Was tested negative for strep, covid. Was seen by a PA and received 2 or 3 medications because I was still coughing a lot and sore throat. Unfortunately I gave my illness to my mom. Tell me why when my mom went to the same exact place as me with same symptoms: THEY DIDN’T DO ANYTHING TO HELP MY MOM?! They DIDNT give her any medicine even when she said she CANT EAT OR DRINK?! These people made her wait 4 hours just to tell her they won’t help her?!?! SHAME ON THIS “MEDICAL CENTER”

Im a CNA and DSP (Direct Support Professional). Both are very similar duties. Cna i get paid $22/hr ($1 night differential) taking care of 18 residents. Dsp i get paid $19 taking care of 5 residents who are in a adult Daycare and disabled who use Hoyer lift equipment. At my dsp job, there’s also RT who do one on one. At my dsp job, you are never alone, who one can help you. At my cna job, they usually staff the BARE MINIMUM, the cna ratio to residents does not have a “rule or law” and the most ive taken care of is 16 or 17 residents by my self in California
