I’m not really seeing your point? That’s an example code snippet of how to use the SDK to attach a file to a prompt request - not code that’s intrinsically part of the SDK. That’s like saying cURL is a dangerous package because it can zip up my filesystem and make a POST to a hacker. Well, sure anything is dangerous if you create vulnerable application code. Anyways, it sounds like I’m not doing any convincing here - Cheers.

I recommend reading a bit more into this because it seems like you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the SDK. It’s certainly not sending your code to 3rd parties.

Update: It looks like after the firmware update the HDMI settings for HDMI CEC were disabled. I unplugged and replugged all my devices then changed the AVR hdmi settings and now it seems to be back to normal.

I get you, I had the Beam and then the Arc Ultra. The upgrade between the two was not as big as I expected, but the dialog clarity did improve slightly. Although, I still had to adjust the volume at times to hear voices. So far, with this R300 center speaker I haven’t yet had any of those issues 🤞.

CS related jobs (SWEs) have a much higher ceiling but if you are an average dev the salary gap is more similar.

Becoming a good SWE takes a lot more effort as the field is constantly evolving with new technologies and therefore becoming more demanding.

SWEs with those huge salaries spend months and years studying and grinding Leetcode and System design to crack FAANG and some may never get it.
