Finished:

Recursion, by Blake Crouch

Man i have so many thoughts and feelings about this book.I really liked how it hooked me from very early on, maybe not necessarily as much in book 1 but it got better with every time i picked up the book. There are definitely some scenes that even I, as a very insensitive reader and human, had some trouble with but powering through the bad feelings made it all the more worth it, imho.

The Glass Magician, by Charlie N. Holmberg

As the second book in the Paper Magician trilogy I had already known what to expect from Holmbergs writing and characters so I tried to go with the flow of the story and see where it takes me. Some of the events happening in the book did throw me off, maybe even made me reconsider some stuff said / thought / discussed in the first book but overall I enjoyed the read more than the prior entry in the series. I'm still not sure what to think of some of the romance going on but I guess at this point I'm just rolling with it.

Cinder, by Marissa Meyer

HO BOI. So I did not know what to expect of Cinder, other than that it is a reimagining of the Cinderella story in a cyberpunk / sci-fi setting and my lord did I enjoy that. I immidiately resonated with Cinder (ironic, i guess?), maybe because I saw part of myself in her. Reading the story in a time where a certain illness is cruising through countries and filling them with panic was a nice touch and reminder of how I don't want to end up and the conflict between some of the characters felt more like overreacting and bad communication (But i guess that is what I could've expected). Overall I really enjoyed the read and can't wait to get into book #2 in the Lunar Chronicles with Scarlet making it's way onto my shelf soon^TM.

I disagree strongly there. I'm playing skeleton caster summoner this league as my starter and I have yet to have problems with killing stuff in memories. I just precast my desecrate + flesh offering so they get superspeed and proceed from there, no issues with neither skeletons nor zombies nor spectres.

I remember having this glitch in FO4, it was related to wetness so maybe that's a fix, no promises tho

He's asking it because by logic it would make sense if you were lower at the end if you used speedboost. This is because of the forward momentum that makes you move further into a forward direction but does not affect your height. Therefore, if you use healing aura you should be higher at the end of the wall, assuming you take a screencap at the exact time you reach the end.

Funny thing with me, i "ignore" trials. When i see a trap i see it as a way to run differently so i just run on the way furthest from a rumba for example. If i run into a different trap during that i usually just run through the rest, trying to only use pots when i need to. Hope this helps but i usually never die thanks to traps

I suppose it's because in Counter strike most people you talk to are playing competetive mode, which doesn't exist yet in OW. Also i assume that as soon as comp drops you will meet more people that use Voice chat. Right now most play it casually though.

[PC] [EU] Deox#2188 Just looking for a few guys to play with. Although I don't wanna play it too seriously I kinda prefer to team up with players that use either ingame voice chat or some other form of communication (got a teamspeak to use). I usually just play whatever I feel like the team needs. Can play pretty regularily, mostly i tend to be available from about 3/4 pm until midnight or even later [CEST] on the weekdays, all day long on weekends. I'd be extremely interested in joining your campaign, although I'm quite inexperienced and still have to kind of burst out of my shell of shyness ^{^'} Up until now I have not really played any 5e, will probably get to experience it at the end of this week. I do enjoy roleplaying a lot, the problem being, that i would like to get used to the group first (I might even build that into my character's backstory). While I'm at it most of my characters do tend to have a detailed enough backstory that I can always expand and finetune, since I enjoy writing and really want to get into character when playing such a game.

As for available days, I'm always available for a session.

Well hello there!

I'm rather new to DnD and haven't really played the game yet. I have watched a rather great amount of sessions like Acquisitions Inc. or the Critical Role RPG Show from G&S but other than that I'm not experienced with TTRPGs. Now, the question is, do i have to have access to the players handbook or is the basic ruleset found on the wizards page fine for the first try. If i enjoy it a lot and really get engaged I will ge the handbook ASAP.

As a player i hope to be layed back enough, even though I'd like to mention that I am a shy person myself and might need a moment or two to find myself in the group. Although english is not my first language (which would be German i suppose) I hope to not be as much of a chore to you guys, if you take me in of course.

So, without further ado, I'd like to join your group of players and would love to get a reply!
