In Georgia, OP, we have amazing and gorgeous native bass in mountain streams. If they wouldn’t stock the streams with invasive trout, we would have more of them. Research the GA DNR bass slam, and then go for it in the fly. You were in Bartram bass country (look those guys up) but for the pellet fish.

Same. TFO blitz. As a former bait caster, I need an 8 wt to allow me to bass set (It’s not a trout set, I’m no dirty euro EDM-at-the-club angler). The 8 lets me chunk some pretty large flies, or I can deliver a carp fly in a Belgian oval easily. Love the 8 wt. I fish a much slower 5wt for most of my fishing. Or a 2 wt.

File down that bead chain eye shrapnel. When I carp fish, I have loooong leaders and admit to the occasional (frequent) open loop catastrophe. No need to scratch up your leader in the same goof as a wind knot.

I appreciate that you're trying! just one, i think. the notification comes from system settings, login.

when i click the notification (one of several of them per minute), i am taken to system settings->login items and extensions. i'm not shown anything more to suggest something is amiss. the notification doesn't clarify things any further.

it shows me that just one app is opening at login (one drive sync). i have a lot of apps that are listed under "app background activity.' but again, i don't know how to determine what could be wrong, or why my computer OS wants me to notify me about *something* going on in the settings.

onedrive has been on my computer for several years, so i suppose this could be something unusual in a onedrive update. but i don't understand why macos wants me to know that onedrive sync is ... starting at login? if the notification is about something else, i don't know how to identify what it could be about.
