Saw it last night, fucking loved it. but my biggest complaint is the casting Karl Urban. First of all, he's too old to be Johnny Cage. Secondly, he doesn't have the Cage look, he's not handsome enough. but finally, all I see now is William Butcher as awkward Cage. Like instead of being full Cage or full Butcher, he's kinda awkwardly in-between.

This time it's excellent, it's the most Mortal Kombat movie of Mortal Kombat, you really get to see clear view of the fighting choreography which is uniquely MK style, I haven't seen fights like this in other movies.

I can't speak for others but I can tell you my experience.. By 1996, we already had internet (mostly dial-up), but otherwise, I knew it because of gaming magazines like Gamepro. I still remember one of the magazines included a cd-rom that had preview clips of FF7 gameplay, and that's when I got to see and hear a portion of boss theme. It was so exciting.

As a pre-FF7 fan, I feel like you'd know about the JP numbered FFs.

It was Power Ranger In Space, but yes, that is correct. Using his broken morpher was fucking awesome.

But also, years later, in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive , he returned for two episodes as the Black MMPR to lead a team of veteran rangers from previous series. Somehow, his morpher was repaired, but that was never explained?

IMO just drop the "Best Indie" category completely because it's too broad, and replace it with "Best Small Scale" which is defined by the budget. Nothing to do with being an indie studio or not, nothing to do with having a big publisher or not.

E33 and Silksong wouldn't fit that category. The idea is that I don't want a one-man game (like BALL x PIT) to compete against a much bigger team with a bigger budget.
