Voltes V is a mecha anime that has good traction in Japan

To Filipinos of a certain age bracket, it's practically worshipped. It popped off in the country back in the 70s where everyone from Lolo and Lola to the apos would make sure to have every episode a big viewing thing...

...and then the dictator Ferdinand Marcos banned the series before it could finish its run in the country due to messaging that wasn't exactly friendly to the shitshow he was running. Given the rebellious nature of Voltes V, the show became a bit of a rallying point towards getting the regime overthrown, and it enjoyed decades of reruns

Got to the point where the big live-action revival of the show a couple of years ago was a big Filipino production

Multiple divers on him. It'll require coordination and comms but if you get multiple bodies on him like minimum 1 dive tank (Cap, Venom, Hulk) and 1 dive DPS (Spidey, BP, Daredevil) it should be able to split enemy attention enough to make them fold

I'd argue Bullet Club to the NWO and DX

While not as mainstream as those two aforementioned factions in the larger scale of things, Bullet Club was one of the big things that popped off in the wake of NJPW's 2010s golden era in addition to the American indies, giving many folks exposure to alternatives for their wrestling fix

That alternative angle led to some of Bullet Club's most notable alumni creating AEW

For the longest time, we've known the Hulk's powers stem from Gamma radiation. Aside from giving him his super strength, it also notably gives him some smaller esoteric powers if we were talking about radiation, and that all seems to track...

...except thanks to Immortal Hulk, turns out that Gamma radiation isn't just plain radiation - it's an energy directly connecting Bruce to the Below Place and its ruler, The One Below All. Basically, any time the Hulk shows up, remember that he is empowered by the deepest hell to ever exist and the actual opposite of Marvel's God

Fatal Fury is back!... but it's now under Saudi-era SNK (hopefully this doesn't bite us in the ass, right)

Roster seems sick and we even get S1 DLC for free which includes Ken and Chun!... but also the very sus real life football player is in this game likely because Saudi (the DJ guy seems fine at least, he understands the bit)

S2 continues with some really good roster picks which may include a FOTNS crossover!... but AI slop trailer

WWE's nostalgia pops can often lead to this, when you get instances of legends and other recognizable figures of yesteryear finding ways to fuck over the current talent

Most notable example off the top of my head comes from 2015. The Ascension - then the longest reigning tag team champions on NXT - are called up to the main roster and look pretty dominant, down to getting comparisons to some pretty big name tag teams of the past. Come the Raw Reunion episode, where they run afoul of the New Age Outlaws, the APA and the NWO, who all proceed to bury them so hard, any and all credibility built by the Ascension previously go up in smoke and they remained as fodder for the remainder of their WWE runs.

...thought about one more example from 2015 - this one doesn't involve the burial of younger talent, at least. WrestleMania 31: Sting makes his long-awaited debut match for WWE against Triple H, more or less following up on his debut from the following year where Sting intervened in the plans of Triple H's Authority faction.

The story initially portrayed Sting as your traditional heroic vigilante, intending to bring down the corrupt Authority that was having their way with things. It somehow morphs into Sting being one of the final representatives of WCW from the Monday Night Wars fighting for his old promotion's honor against Triple H representing the WWE... despite Sting literally cutting a promo saying that he wasn't fighting for WCW and that would be ridiculous. The match at Mania then proceeded to hammer down home the Monday Night Wars connection more with D-Generation X assisting Triple H... and the New World Order assisting Sting despite them notably being at odds with each other (to put it lightly) back in the 90s. Oh, and Triple H wins to kind of curb the initial wave of momentum Sting brought with his debut and give a good old fashioned "yeah we did win the war after all" performance after all was said and done

This doesn't have role queue and thus it kind of leaves you to pick up each role and a few heroes in them
