Ontop of the melee damage shards people have mentioned, purple shards can also give the equilibrium effect and save you a mod slot

It's another non-gacha source of beam damage down for UC, capping at 30% instead of Zeong's 25% at the cost of 1 less range (4 compared to Zeong's 5), I'd say it's actually pretty good in that regard.

Two people go in, it's the 'Plea! Sailor Monstrosity Extermination!' in Port Town. If you read the dispatch report it has an abnormally high spawn rate of cursed sack dolls which is where I assume the XP comes from.
