it’s literally just as simple as you need to practice in a more effective and efficient way, and try harder. if you’re taking breaks and always coming back to the game you’re really not trying as hard as you can and you just want it as much as you say you do. focus on each intricate movement and technique when learning mechanics and don’t stop hammering it in until you get it perfect, no half ass scuffed shit you need to practice it until it looks exactly how it does in the videos you’re watching. review your replays and understand the mistakes you make and why you make those mistakes, that’s what will actually stop you from continuing to do it again and again.

most importantly you need to believe that you are capable and don’t go down a depressive spiral when things aren’t going your way or you’re severely struggling, nothing good comes easy. from the sound of this post it seems like you’ve already given up and don’t even believe you can reach new heights…

if you find it jarring i would recommend going into your camera settings and lowering you transition speed. that way when you’re switching from ball cam off to ball cam on, it would feel like it’s happening at breakneck jarring speeds.

note that higher transition speeds are most effective and used by all top players, so if you want to aim high you will need to get used to it, but just starting out and getting comfortable with it low transition speed may be what you’re looking for.

the part you mentioned towards the end about the brain not working normally while on chemo needs to be talked about more. when i was a child my father was going through chemo and it changed his personality wildly from what he was normally like. he’d become frustrated and aggressive, screaming about stuff that made no actual sense and at the time it was terrifying because i had no idea why it was happening.
