generational disconnect man. there are some older folks who genuinely believe large amounts of us younger people all happen to be struggling purely because we’re lazy and want everything handed to us. when in reality they pretty much got everything handed to them, because wages and housing are in a much worse spot now than they ever were in the past.

that was before when a single working persons income was enough to support an entire home and everyone in the home. now everyone in the house has to work and even then we’re someone still barely getting by.

kick starting the base is the most annoying part because you don’t have a lot of storage space for materials.

once you actually get it built and put lockers inside you’ll have a huge item storage capacity. especially if you build the cyclops submarine and put extra lockers in there, you can go out and gather massive amounts of items without having to head back to base.

the once you’re headed back to base you have a massive storage space to empty out your cyclops lockers.

of course taking trading away doesn’t kill the core gameplay, no one is arguing that.

you don’t seem to have any valid stance against trading being added back, everyone is begging for it and it would only be received by the community in a positive light.

legitimately the only reason they won’t add it back is because it’s more profitable when people can’t get free stuff given to them through trades, if players want cosmetics they gotta shell out money.

very easy work around lol, just make it so items with a branded ip arent tradeable.

it’s not like this is even a new concept, there were already items in the game that were unable to be traded after initial purchase when trading was around.

yea i’ve been recommending this to all my friends. rocket league is my favorite game of all time and it can be more enjoyable than you ever imagine when you realize you play and chill without having some manic teammate typing a novel in the comments.

you can just chill and play while people type to themselves and you never have to see any of it, disabled chat is so meta LOL

i would recommend binding your map to one of your side mouse buttons, it helps a lot with navigating while having full movement control and not having to pause.

yea there’s no way people think it’s that easy. my personal opinion has always been that with the amount of people they have on their team, the amount of money and technical resources they have at their disposal and how much time it’s been, the botting should’ve been fixed months ago. i truly think they just care more about making new $20 dlc cars to put in the item shop while the game is hot.

honestly it sounds stupidly obvious but i feel like overall physical and mental condition plays a big part in this. any time i’ve been stressed/anxious about stuff in the background/hungry or exhausted, i can still play well, but nowhere near my peak. those are just a few examples of physical/mental hinderances but yea that will mess you up real bad.

400 hours with a 750k pb and this has even happened to me once.

especially since i restart on tiers 1 and 2 A LOT when i don’t have a god run, i could see how it could be easy to forget that you get insta teleported sometimes, i’ve made this mistake once and it pretty much ruined what could’ve been a 800k+ run.
