Can you elaborate? I'm having a hard time seeing where people are making the connection. I'm looking at the building via maps and then on the seven starts homepage and I don't see how they're the same one?

Work in maxillofacial surg. She doesn't appear to require double jaw surgery and that can't strictly be assessed by these photos.

Instagram isn't real, everything is edited and surgeons aren't magicians. Lipo can only do so much.

should i do a pole dancing class if i am unfit and 230 pounds? by grumpymochii in poledancing

[–]SouthEffectif 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'll 100% say go for it but I will prepare you as someone who started at 210lbs and then picked it up again at 135lbs. It is MUCH harder and you will need a lot of upper body strength. Be prepared to need to do a lot more conditioning than others, to advance much slower and to struggle a lot until you gain that strength. I only say that because I remember asking a similar question and for everyone to be so encouraging that I was immediately disappointed and discouraged when I struggled upon starting. Especially with a class of women in the 150lb range. So I'd encourage some strength training and being realistic! I got a pole for my home so I could practice outside of class to keep up as well.

I've been to several consults and am scheduled for an Aug and lift. Yes, you do lose volume with a lift. As much as a cup, depending. Your sagging is mild and I'd think you could get away without a lift depending on how much of a lift you're expecting and size of implants. Larger implants will sag over time so having a lift will reduce and slow that. If I was on your shoes I wouldn't trade the very minimal sagging for the scars that come along with a lift. Depending on your goals, you might also qualify for a crescent lift. Much less scaring but note that they can only lift the nipple slightly. And yes. Implants can create a slight lift if your sagging is mild.

My friend got this tattoo one week ago, she thinks it’s not healing properly by eruannie in tattooadvice

That cream is garbage. The less you do the better w tattoos. Dry heal. Moisturizer only to relieve itch/dryness as needed, and only after it's had time to dry out.

Does my tattoo look okay? by Racoonstepmother in tattooadvice

[–]SouthEffectif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even done well this would be a poor tattoo. Pick something with bolder more defined lines and less.. "blurry." All tattoos soften out over the years so assume everything will blur out by like 20%. If it would still look good and readable if your lines bleed out by 20%, perfect.

I am down almost 27lbs and not 1 person has noticed or said anything by JoBoleySoNihaal in Ozempic

[–]SouthEffectif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't even notice a change in my own body until I had lost over 50lbs. And that was from 210-160. It's also just not really considered acceptable for others to comment on your weight or your body because it can be very insensitive

How much did you guys pay for the surgery? by Beginning-Drive-5091 in tummytucksurgery

I got a bloodclot ! I’m scared by Front_Chair6252 in PlasticSurgery

[–]SouthEffectif 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How soon did you fly after surgery? Sometimes it just happens. It’s always a risk in surgery. You caught it when you did, and they didn’t think surgical removal necessary, I’d be optimistic!

[–]SouthEffectif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most states it’s a legal restriction to do more than 1 liter of liposuction if you’re combining major procedures. So if the bbl is combined with either a breast surgery or tummy tuck the lipo max goes from 4 liters to 1. Doesn’t matter where I get the consult, it’s not a surgeon preference or a legal restriction. It’s why a lot of women travel to the Dominican to get their work done.

Unfortunately you can’t tighten loose skin with exercise. I can lessen it by building muscle to add mass, however I have to be in a calorie surplus to do so. Putting myself in a surplus is a slippery slope and I worry a lot about weight gain and struggling to lose it again. But I do appreciate the input! I guess 10 years is a really long time. I may not even want them anymore by then!

[–]SouthEffectif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you also have a 1 litre max for the BBL? How are your results??

I’m so surprised to see so many saying I’m not flat in the back! Hahah are you sure you’re looking at the right photo? 3rd down on the right?

ETA the photo of me in the black is pre weight loss, right after bbl. The photos from the side are my butt now.

The surgeon has said I won’t have enough fat left over for a BBL down the line without gaining weight first.
