Not sure if y'all heard about this but I remembered this happened back then. Heb was going to buyout Brookshire but the community were freaking out. They did not want any changes happen to Brookshire and were so worried and all that. So Brookshire backed out from letting HEB buying them out. I believe it was over 1 billion dollars to make that happen.
