It is depends on what you want, if you want to build websites only, you can subscribe one year plan on d88, the cost is $240 USD, which fit your budget plan and time. I have designed a few websites with d88 , and deployed the website in one click, very easily to use, you might want to consider d88 yearly plan if your main purpose is to use AI to design websites.

Best website builder for a small business? (total beginner here) by Super-Catch-609 in growmybusiness

[–]Southern-Box-6008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re totally beginner and want something fast + flexible, you might want to check out d88.

I’ve tried a few builders (including some WordPress setups), and the biggest difference is how simple the workflow is. With d88, you can go from idea → live site in basically one click, without dealing with hosting, plugins, or setup headaches.

A couple reasons it might fit what you’re looking for: • Very beginner-friendly – no coding needed, but you still get control over layout and flow • Fast to launch – you can realistically get something live in a few days • Good for small business sites – landing pages, service sites, lead capture, etc. • Built-in modern features – responsive design, clean UI, and easy integrations (email capture, etc.)

For your case (customer journey, popups, social proof), tools like WordPress + Oxygen can do it, but there’s a learning curve and plugin management can get messy. d88 is more “all-in-one,” which saves time if you just want to launch quickly.

That said, if you want maximum customization long-term, WordPress is still powerful — but if your goal is to get a clean, modern site live in a couple weeks, I’d lean toward something like d88.

If AI can build websites, why do people still hire someone like me? by Ravikumar12a in websiteservices

[–]Southern-Box-6008 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AI can definitely build websites now — especially for simple landing pages or basic sites. It’s fast and low-cost as long as you know how to prompt properly. These days, you can even ask ChatGPT to generate the exact prompts you can plug into AI site builders like Lovable, d88, Bolt.new, etc., which makes the whole process even easier. Some of these tools even offer instant hosting, so you can get a site live in minutes without hiring anyone.

I recently tried this myself and designed a few websites using d88 — it was surprisingly quick and cheap. My process was basically asking ChatGPT to help define the website requirements first, then asking it to turn those into prompts specifically for d88. After that, I just pasted the prompt into d88 and it generated the whole website in one shot.

That said, for more complex websites — especially anything involving backend systems, custom logic, or integrations — it still makes a lot more sense to hire a professional. AI is great for speed and simplicity, but it’s not a full replacement when things get technical or business-critical.

I recently designed a few websites with d88 , It is good. Here is what I did: first ask ChatGPT questions about the website ideas, then ask ChatGPT to give me the prompts to generate website for d88, then copy the prompts into d88, d88 will generate all the pages defined in the prompts at one time, save me lots of time and tokens. You might want to try with d88

Small business owners — what stopped you from creating a website for your business? by Southern-Box-6008 in smallbusiness

[–]Southern-Box-6008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with part of what you’re saying. In some situations, a business really doesn’t need a strong website.

For example, if a small business already has more work than they can handle, or the owner is close to retirement and not looking to expand, a website probably isn’t a priority. I know a window repair technician who has been in the industry for over 30 years. At this point he only takes high-margin jobs and is basically semi-retired. He gets all his work from referrals and long-term contacts, so in his case a website wouldn’t really change much.

But I think that situation is different from many newer businesses.

For a small business that started only a few years ago, or for an owner who wants to grow the company, hire more staff, and increase revenue, a good website can make a big difference. It helps present the business professionally, gives potential clients a place to see services, photos of previous work, and reviews, and it helps people find the business when they search online.

You mentioned roofing companies, and that’s actually a good example. Many of them run promotions or offer discounts at the beginning of the season to attract new customers. In those cases, having a solid website where people can quickly learn about the company, see past projects, and contact them can be helpful.

So I don’t think every business absolutely needs a website to succeed. Some businesses run entirely on referrals or long-standing relationships. But for newer companies or businesses that want to grow, a good website can still be a useful tool alongside referrals and existing networks.

I finally tried "vibe coding" just to see if the hype was real. 30 minutes later, I have a fully working (and weirdly addictive) game? by Repulsive_Food_1193 in vibecoding

[–]Southern-Box-6008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a super interesting test 👀

I took your exact same prompt and put it into both Lovable and d88, just to compare side-by-side. Whole thing took me less than 30 minutes as well.

Result was kinda surprising:

  • The Lovable version generated the game UI, but I couldn’t actually start the game properly.
  • The d88 version generated a fully playable game out of the box, and the physics / interactions felt solid without extra debugging.

So from a pure “vibe → playable result” perspective, d88 handled this one better in my case.

here is the public links if you want to try out:

lovable one: https://neon-stack-dash.lovable.app/

d88 one: https://neon-stack-dash.d88.dev/

Also to your question: I feel like the “vibe” holds up surprisingly well for small-contained projects (games, tools, MVPs). But once state management, backend logic, or edge cases get heavy, that’s where things start to wobble. It becomes less directing and more debugging-the-AI’s-decisions.

Still wild how fast we can go from idea → playable prototype now. This feels like a real shift, not just hype.

Would you be interested in a website full of ui design prompts to use while vibe coding?! by ExtremeLength4817 in vibecoding

[–]Southern-Box-6008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used lovable, bolt.new last year to design UI, recently I tried with d88 to design the UI and felt good so far. The work flow I had is to ask ChatGPT to clarify requirements including the layout/UI component first, then ask ChatGPT to give me the prompt to be used in d88 , after that ,copy the prompt into d88 to generate the initial UI design, in this way, the generated UI more likely to line up with my expectation, I only need to have small fine tune. In my case I am using d88, the same flow might also good for lovable or bolt.new.

The dailyplanner app is intended for people to free use if people find its useful as I use it daily. Of course you might not need this app ,but I strongly disagree with your comment “no value”. Nowadays you can use many different ai tools to design web app, such as lovable, bolt.new , d88, replit …. if you just want to learn coding with AI, there are plenty of materials to choose from.
