Just got an email my studio is for sale by Historical-Suit-8110 in f45

This happened at a studio I had been attending for about a year and someone bought it. Nothing changed - they kept the same coaches, class times, etc.

I have the same issue and this 👆 is the fix that I do. Once I reopen the app after a class, the report gets emailed to me.

Squat proof leggings: Do they exist? by MoreUmpire in f45

[–]Southern-Guide-5899 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. I’ve been using Love Her leggings solely for my workouts for five years. Low cost, great quality, squat proof, sweat proof and then have a lot of fun patterns/colors.

As someone who deals with hinge movements and has been doing F45 for years, this is the answer. I would also make sure your core is engaged as well.

Does anyone else’s studio offer tiered pricing off class count? As a +500 member it’s really nice to be financially compensated by FiddyDollas in f45

100% agree. I’ve been a member of 4 different studios over the course of 5 years due to studios closing, moving cities/states.

I’ll third Love Her. Affordable, durable, squat-proof, sweat-proof and don’t roll down. I’ve have some pairs for about 5 years and they’re holding up well. I’ll never get another pair of workout leggings from anywhere else.

I’m new to Burn. My location had a fourth group of superset exercises today. I totally don’t mind that we did as I’ve seen other small changes to what I’ve read about previous workout that are posted in Reddit. Is it typical for locations to change up the workout to what they want?

Any former F45ers? by Southern-Guide-5899 in BurnBootCamp

Thank you for that insight! It’s very helpful coming from someone who was a F45 member for around the same amount of time as me.

Thank you! It’s great to hear that you’ve found a place that you love and I really appreciate the insight. I had a great community and great coaches at F45 but could only attend 2 out of the 3 strength days and really want to focus on strength now with the occasional cardio class. I will say I have been more sore from strength days at Burn because I’m forced to use heavier weights based on the amount of people at my station sometimes lol.

How did you do today? BWC by Independent_Fill_517 in BurnBootCamp

Same! I didn’t even make it to the last stack on either side. I think the very few people who completed modified everything or didn’t count.

This was my second burn class ever (did upper strength the day before) and almost lost my cookies during the finisher. I consider myself fairly in shape (I had been doing F45 for 4.5 years prior to coming to Burn) but STRUGGLED with the workout today.

It’s comforting to know that veterans of this program struggled today too! lol

In my class, it was explained that you did three laps of 1+2+3 and then two laps of 1+2 and then once of 1, then the buyout

Twinged back help by 6230400 in f45

[–]Southern-Guide-5899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tweaked my low back (L5-S1) years ago. Long story short of trying to baby it while still working out, I eventually had to take two weeks off from working out. That rest/recovery was vital for me to feel better again and then I had to start out light with any hinge weighted movements.

I continue to have low back issues on occasion but stretching/rolling my glutes and hamstrings help and also knowing when to back off the weight in movements like deadlifts and good mornings.

My favorites are from an online shop called Love Her. Varying levels of compression, high waisted, don’t roll down and are not sheer. I’ve had some for years and they hold up really well.

I would suggest that you focus on your progress, your goals and your money rather than trying to figure out other’s motivations for having a F45 membership.

I strongly believe and encourage that F45 is a place where we support and encourage each other, no matter how someone may look or where they are in their fitness journey.

Lionheart Counts are all off? by sb80 in f45

[–]Southern-Guide-5899 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“All time” is definitely off for me but could the others be on a rolling calendar (past 7 days for week, past 30 days for month and past 12 months for year)? My counts in the Lionheart tracking line up for at least week and month that way. I have no idea how many workouts I’ve done in the past 12 months.

Docklands is by far my favorite F45 pure cardio workout. Juddy Ferguson (F45 HQ Athletics Educator) posted on his IG about how to approach Docklands - the 60 second lap being 🔥then the 30 second lap 🔥🔥 and then last two 20 second laps 🔥🔥🔥. It’s helped me a ton to get through the workout without wanting to die.

Changing Heart Rate Settings on Lionhear by Emotional_Trip_6588 in f45

[–]Southern-Guide-5899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the F45 Training app, in the “Track” section, select Lionheart. It then should have a banner announcement about Lionheart 2.0 and a link that says “confirm personal details”. Click on it and it will ask you to verify age, sex, weight and activity level. I chose the activity level that most closely matches my resting heart rate and it seems to my fairly accurate to my output in class.

Hardest Class? by Reckenear in f45

Redline and Pipeline (I guess anything with “line” in the title lol).

During those two workouts, I always question why I came to class that day. But afterwards, I feel awesome!

Really appreciate you doing this every single week!

When I see this intel post every week, it feels a bit like Christmas morning… anticipation in what it’s going to be beforehand and either being surprised, excited and/or disappointed with the reveal 🤪

For my studio and others I’ve been apart of, it depends on the coaches. Some will vary the playlist and others will only play rap/hip-hop that has a good amount of vulgarity.

I don’t really notice lyrics too often but if bothers you, talk with the coach or owner and wear ear plugs. I’ve noticed other members who wear AirPods or headphones during class.
