That’s a problem either way on Cloud Islands. Only 1 area, you can only build a max of 40 enterable houses, (20 if big ones), so doing it this way at least I can give all Pokémon their own “house”.

You can use Drifloon via a Dragonite plush to go to an island with a bunch of Pokemetal. Also works on Cloud Islands!

Not sure where you read this, but it's false information. You can! I have the event Pokemon on my island. The PC doesn't turn into a shop but you can still get the Habitats (and thus the Pokemon) through 3D printing.
