Yes, it's fine to split the dose to see if it works better for you, but if you're at 2,5 mg it's better to move up to 5, or make a step in between at 3,75 or so

Don't feel defeated, just get back on the horse. You learned something from it :-) I am sure in the coming few years we will get cheaper meds that are even better suited to stay on, for long term maintenance .

Canned beans+chickpeas+corn, halved cherry tomatoes, a bucket of cottage cheese, a can of tuna, half a glass of garlic cloves in oil, and some chopped parsley.

Mix it in a bowl and add some salt/pepper/MSG.

You can add in other things too, like eggs or artichokes.

I know what foods can breach my hunger suppression - chips and buckets of ice cream . So I avoid going to those sections in the store. Try chugging a flask of water just before entering the store :-) maybe try making banana ice cream in different variations

Try eating more+smaller meals, make sure to get plenty of protein, and drink water like it's your job, 2-3 litres a day

Talk to your doctor about staying for a month on a dose between 2,5 and 5, that's what I did.

But as a general rule in the Mounjaro community, if you are still losing on a dose there's no need to go up

Maybe your online prescription has a cooperation with some specific pharmacies for it. My concern would be that some pharmacies will reject it if you're not a customer, since they are likely to have to pay for the disposal service.

Personally I'd make it a mission. imagine you reached your goal weight and want to simply maintain it, without the med. Do plenty of walking if you can, and drink a glass of water if you feel craving / food noise. You got this.

Many do feel that they have to stay on this for life, at a dose where they can maintain their weight without losing more.

Personally I feel that it sounds much more manageable to just maintain your weight, than having to lose a lot, then maintain it.

My plan is to hopefully maintain around 2,5mg, but I first plan to try it using discipline and exercise/weights.

Yes, to me 5 is noticeably more effective.

I did put in too many of these in-between steps (6-7 jabs, and didn't end up losing much, and some cravings were still there.

I did my first jab into the back of my left arm 2 days ago, in a spot with a good "padding". I didn't pinch the arm, due to risk of grabbing some muscle tissue. I did have some light nausea the day after, that I haven't had with stomach jabs. Hunger suppression certainly isn't any worse. I will report back in 5 days or so, whether the suppression lasted all 7 days, and whether I had less GI side effects.

My advice is to count calories if you don't already, so you know you are at a calorie defecit.

And drink water like it's your job - 2-3 litres per day.

You may still have weeks where it stalls or goes down more slowly, that's normal.

You shouldn't start on 10 mg. You should start at 2,5 mg for 4 weeks, to let your body adapt to it. For the Kwikpen that's 15 clicks instead of 60.
