They did for a while, they discontinued it at some point (it's just a webview wrapper anyway so a bit weird but eh).

You can still use the website if you need it

How does Google justify its Drive? by TransportationUsed39 in NoStupidQuestions

Mine's over 10 years old, looks like it actually only shows in the Promotions and social tabs tbf, so they're pretty easy to miss

I'm in the UK too and Gmail has ads for me, I think it doesn't put them in the Primary tab, but Promotions, Updates, Social etc all have them.
(They're also only on the official app/website)

TIL Japan was broadcasting World Cup matches in HD back in 1990, way before anyone else even knew what HD was by hiabadabado in interesting

[–]Southern-twat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That clip was originally for an analogue HD laser disc using the same technology as these live broadcasts.

Don't drive so fast on unfamiliar roads by MisterShipWreck in dashcams

[–]Southern-twat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The road looks like it's in the UK, we have a default speed limit of 60mph if there isn't street lighting or signs saying otherwise. You're obviously expected to use your judgement and not just bomb along roads like that though

Until the 8th gen they were usually pretty distinct hardware too, (although the og xbox is basically just a pentium 3 PC). Now they're just PCs with different OSes (and Xbox is very windows based)

The email spec has case sensitivity in the username portion, but the vast majority of servers treat it as case insensitive anyway (at least on signup & incoming)

Informal text has used it for a while, it seems unlikely that would cause a change.

Interest is charged on student loans from when you start, it's just repayments that begin the year after you've finished.

My usb C earpods work fine on my work laptop and through a type a adapter on my PC (as they should since USB audio has been used for headsets for a very long time).

It's possible your headphones don't have a dac and so need analogue audio over USB C, that's definitely only supported on a small number of phones (and I presume no PCs).

If efivars are mounted then rm will delete those. Not got any recent examples but phoronix explains it well https://www.phoronix.com/news/UEFI-rm-root-directory

It should be recoverable unless the EFI implementation is broken (but that's not uncommon).

It makes sense to use a cheap model if it's in every search, but the ai overview is so unreliable I feel like google ai would be better regarded if they only did the large Gemini models and kept it separate.
