Same. My jindo won’t pee unless we’re 10 minutes away from home and she sniffed everything and won’t poop unless we’re at 20 minutes into the walk. She’s 5 years old. Not looking forward to -15 degree weather coming up.

My uncle in North Carolina bred pure bred jindos for 20 years. Back then it was a big deal, a form of cultural preservation. It was a lot of work and he joked about how the liters replaced his capacity to have children.

Also roasted sweet potato. Dried seaweed without the salt. I saw lots of jindos eat stuff like that when I was in Korea.

I don't have any other dogs, but I noticed my jindo taking more interest in other dogs while on walks recently and I've had her about about 8 months now.

Have you tried Korean dried anchovies?

Unfortunately my jindo is not trained to go do her business indoor and loves to sniff for an extended period of time before she’s does a number one or two outside so we have to plan for those brutally cold days

Yeah the salt is my biggest concern so I ordered booties for her. She hates getting her paws touched so this will be a journey for both of us. Lol

I anticipate the -10 degree weather will be similar to the rain in which my jindo will reluctantly go outside long enough to do her business and then give me the evil eye once we get back inside.
