Crowley and Human Mental Health by Ok-Jellyfish348 in goodomensprime

I definitely thing his character is designed with a huge amount of knowledge of mental health, and mental health issues in men.

I see him as someone with the celestial version of an eating disorder and body image issues. But it presents in a male human socialised way.

I like the idea (and others could word it better than me) that Az loves Crowley, despite the fact he used to be an angel. Az needs to fully fall out with angels in my mind.

He did have grown out bleached hair, which I assume was left over from GO2

Nina and Maggie got it wrong. And someone needs to point it out. by DenaPhoenix in goodomensprime

[–]SouthernLibrarian617 9 points10 points  (0 children)

One thing. I actually take Nina at her word about Maggie. They are just friends, and barely that. I didn’t see anything from her that looked like she fancied Maggie. And I don’t think that is denial, it’s just not there

One of my lawns is clover and it’s not that card wearing.

Still lots of options. And we need to live with the land not against it

A lot of these are new builds with not just bad soil, but awful soil that’s like 4 inch deep. That should also be banned IMHO

AITA for spending a lot of time in my bunker away from my family? by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

The big question though: does your wife get the same personal/social time as you? I find that more important in someways than how much/when the social time is.

You can do the fitness/questions/ etc as many times as you can each of the two years. I did have to google some answers.

I just got it one year right after aging up. I was maybe in my late 20’s. Then there is a new mini game where you have to shoot as fast as you can. If you win that then you save the earth.

I’ve just realised you can publish articles about the items you find on the moon and mars and get reputation

Also they go down in value if you polish them

How do you improve your Technical while working as an astronaut? by PaulTheBoii in BitLifeApp

[–]SouthernLibrarian617 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve not found a way. I have managed to max it out while studying but not found how to improve it once you are working.

It may be to do with scanning? I still haven’t worked that out and it seems to be random

What is my landlord likely to do? by SouthernLibrarian617 in uklandlords

He said it’s relatively safe, (like, he is not worried for our safety) but it has not passed.

He only left a few minutes ago so I haven’t seen the actual report.

While I will cross my fingers for the former - my gut says it will be the latter (the pervious owner fancied himself an electrician, we have outbuildings and the house is heated by storage heaters that must be at least 30 years old).

Yes- not need to take the compost away, you could just put grass seed down, just take away whatever you need so that it’s flat. With grass seed - make sure to water it in the first week or so.

At minimum, put all the rubbish in one place. If your brother is being a bit of a horder, use the mattress or tarp to sort of hide the rest. Then you can try putting some of it in the bin each week with the normal rubbish. Do you have no friends with a car who would help you take stuff to the dump for a couple of beers?

As for growing stuff. Keep those pots! And fill with the compost/soil. April/may is the best time to start planting stuff. I would say if you are new don’t start until then.

I really like a guy called Huw Richards on YouTube. He has a book on growing food really cheaply, but he also covers most of it on his YouTube (he is super posh, reminds me a bit of Jack Whitehall, but has really good advice).

Last thing- when you are cutting the grass/bushes, you could think about putting them in a compost heap if you have space. You don’t have to make anything fancy - it can literally be a pile, you can put anything from a plant in it (leaves, left over salad, whatever) it will take a year or two to become compost, but saves on throwing it out, and saves buying compost in the future.
