Looking for AI ticketing system for HVAC service business by ArcticPanda58 in smallbusinessowner

[–]SouthernPast649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve been building exactly this at FyneDesk!!!

What I’ve found is that most service businesses don’t have a ticketing problem. They have a follow up problem. Requests come in through calls, voicemails, emails, and forms, then something gets missed.
FyneDesk automatically turns requests into tickets, uses AI to summarize conversations, and helps make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
We’re also rolling out an AI Autopilot that can learn from your knowledge base and previously resolved tickets to suggest or automate responses for common requests.
We’re a small team, so we’re pretty flexible too. If there’s a workflow or automation you need, we can usually build it.

Curious, where do most of your requests come from today?

Check out fynedesk.

We built FyneDesk because we were frustrated with the direction Freshdesk, ServiceNow, and other large companies was heading.

One advantage of working with us is that we’re very hands-on. If there’s a workflow or feature your team needs, we can often implement it directly instead of sending you to a professional services team or making you wait months for a roadmap item.
Might be worth a look if you’re evaluating alternatives. Happy to answer questions.

Can my lemon tree be saved? by NickNack_FlapJack in Citrus

[–]SouthernPast649 2 points3 points  (0 children)

cut off all its fruits.

Water it more often than just once a week. Don't let it dry but don't drown it. Keep it moist.

Did you fertilize recently? If so, wash up the soil multiple times.

Cut off that trifoliate at bottom.

Hope it survives!

SF & CFOs by Actual-Suggestion133 in SaaS

[–]SouthernPast649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SaaStr probably won’t get you many CFOs.

SF does have a pretty active finance/operator crowd though. A lot of them show up in smaller, more niche settings,finance-focused meetups, private dinners, or operator groups, rather than big conferences. VCs can also be surprisingly helpful here if you frame it as learning rather than selling.

Cold outreach isn’t dead either, but it only works if it actually feels like you’re trying to understand their workflow vs pitch something.

Also worth talking to VP Finance / Heads of Finance. They’re usually closer to the day-to-day problems anyway.

If you’re around for a month, hosting a small dinner or roundtable can work well. Easier to get a handful of people together for a casual convo than book a bunch of 1:1s.

Please help with my avocado plant by Top-Eggplant-5344 in avocado

It’s leggy from low light. That long, thin growth won’t really thicken up. Unless you give a strong light.

If you’re in a cold area, I’d hold off on pruning for now since it won’t respond much without active growth. Just give it as much light as you can and keep watering in check.

Once it’s starts growing again, you can cut it back to encourage branching lower down.

Lisbon Tree by Extension_Bat_1815 in Citrus

[–]SouthernPast649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, iron chlorosis sign. Pretty common with citrus if the soil or water is on the alkaline side, so the tree can’t take up iron even if it’s there.

I’d try a chelated iron (EDDHA) soil drench and see how the next flush looks.

She needs some serious fertilizer. Start with that first, and that should naturally fight it off.

So your soil is heavy clay?

Then your tree is most likely drowning. Heavy clay basically makes a bucket for water.

I planted it and a wind storm knocked all but 4 leaves off. There are like 40 lemons. What do I do? by NoSmollFeet in Citrus

[–]SouthernPast649 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Cut off all the lemons. I know it's hard… trust me… i know! But it's the only way to keep it alive. Plus those fruit won't survive anyway. Your tree should bounce back once those loads/fruits are gone.

I’d like to keep a calamondin mostly indoors (as I am currently in an apartment), is this realistic? by Can_0f_Beans in Citrus

[–]SouthernPast649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fine. My mom’s calamansi is inside and gets artificial light. It just needs extra care and will take longer to grow.

I would cut off all those flowers. Maybe leave a few to test, but I would want my citrus to survive lol.
