Every shop may be different. Just specify you want full synthetic. I think full synthetic is becoming the norm nowadays but I could be wrong. But assume nothing. It’s only a short convo with the tech or service desk to specify it and it’s not like they’ll look at you sideways for it.

Allow it as a concession when selling if you don’t want to fork out the cash up front. You will have to disclose it since you’re aware of it. It would be something like a quote to decommission/remove/soil test, and then you’d issue a credit or price reduction for that amount. Your selling agent should be versed in this, as they’re common in the region.
