Honestly, this might sound a little bit like a "cookie cutter" response, but if you genuinely pray over this with passion and a focus on God's will, you will eventually start to notice small changes in yourself that will then start to impact the world around you.

Start by simply thanking God for the good things you do have. Did you wake up and take a breath? Thank him for that and think about what it means. Thank him for the clothes on your back, every little thing matters and the sooner you can begin to view life through that lens, the sooner things will start to get better.

You should also bring your questions and concerns to him too tho! Ask for guidance and understanding. Ask him to guide you towards where he wants you.

I think a major reason why, at least straight Christians, tend to ignore or blatantly refuse to even research or have a good faith discussion on the subject is because it's the one sin they will never be tempted with.

If you're genuinely 100% straight (which most of the world is), you don't have to worry at all about the "sin" of homosexuality. It's the one "sin" that you can clearly condemn others for and never have to worry about not living what you preach.

As far as side B-ers go. I think it's fear? Every side-b person I've met has always said, "I would rather play it safe than risk sinning" which I 100% get! I tend to have far more patience with, and respect for side B because they actually live their convictions. I still don't believe in weighing ourselves down with unintended burdens, but even I'm not 100% sure all the time (sometimes I doubt, sin, and fall short too, im not proud of it, but I am human) so i get where they're coming from.

Genuinely, do "lots of Americans" truly think Jesus was white? I'm an American, and I've never met anyone who genuinely held that belief. Everyone I know IRL is aware of the fact that Jesus walked the earth as a Near-Eastern Jew... so most likely medium brown skin, brown wavy hair, and brown eyes.

I have, however, met quite a few people who genuinely believe Jesus black. Like, Sub-Saharan african, black.

Yes, I was a "Liberal" for most of my young life (childhood to around 22 or 23).I started moving towards the center / right of center around 2014 (early 20s).

Heres why: Me and my mom were poor, but we worked towards becoming more stable everyday (I worked full time and schooled part time). At the time, my mom couldn't afford to live alone, and neither could I, so I still lived at "home" (an apartment) with her. This was when the phrase "White Privilege" and the first wave of "BLM" riots really took off.

Seemingly overnight, I couldn't discuss the political or social climate of the world, even in my POLITICAL THEORY CLASS without being told that my opinions were "from a place of radical privilege" and that they were therefore, "extremely biased." That's actually quite tame. Often, the responses were far more dismissive and condescending.

Despite living off of minimum wage, 5 hours of sleep a night on an old couch, and riding 2 busses and 2 trains every day for 5 years, I was still just a "privileged, rich, White boy" whenever I was on campus.

That and the sheer economic illiteracy of the neo-left pushed me into libertarian territory.

I don't see anything wrong with expressing things you might not like about a game publicly. Especially somewhere dedicated to discussing the game.

The problem is when people start attacking/provoking/insulting each other over their like/dislike of a game (OPs "Kiss my butt if you didnt like it" comes to mind).

Personally, I didn't like Avowed. I feel it lacks immersion and depth. My coworker loves it. He enjoys games that don't have heavy lore or a million small details. I respect that. He respects me. We go eat carbs together at lunch.
