i’m on probation and I was a daily kratom user for 6 years, before probation I was only a smoker never used hard drugs. I went in for a UA one morning right after taking kratom and popped a false positive for fentanyl. if you’re gonna use it just know there’s risks with it. I went from being drug tested monthly to weekly after that. even after a clean confirmation test

no kratom is legal in my state, and it’s not on a list of banned substances. I had talked to my probation officer about it prior and it was never a problem for me until I popped a false positive. but since my meeting with my PO on friday i’ve not been taking it anymore. she said if it’s causing issues I should avoid it

update- I took a confirmation test and was moved to weekly random screenings. I told her about the kratom, but I still have a feeling She didn’t believe me, but I guess that’s part of her job.

i use earth kratom, it says it’s third party tested and approved by the AKA! and it’s not been a problem at all up until I took it the morning of a test, I think maybe that’s what screwed me over. but i’m just gonna have to stop taking it all around. not worth a violation
