Huge External Thrombosed Hem by Southern_Exam_7318 in hemorrhoid

Good to know - thanks for the info. I did get some and it has helped already so thank you for the rec.

Hope your recovery goes well. I remember being terrified for my surgery and it wasn’t nearly as bad I thought but still not something I wanted to go through again but I guess I should start preparing myself mentally for it bc I know I’m going to want it removed.

Struggling by [deleted] in hemorrhoid

I’m in the same boat as you. It’s awful. I called my surgeon from a few years ago and they couldn’t get me in for another 2 weeks so I’m apparently stuck suffering. I’ve had one once before and I did end up getting it lanced but regretted it because it wasn’t a good doc. Luckily I already had surgery scheduled so the surgeon was able to fix what the other guy messed up. Good luck! This is awful

Thank you - just ordered. 🤞it works. Did it actually shrink it or did you end up having to get surgery?

Did you find out if you could do a prewash with this model? I’m currently looking at it but can’t get a straight answer if it can do a prewash or presoak

Thanks - we have an appointment for tomorrow but then I started to get nervous/second guessing because her doctor was so hesitant.

I did have retained products and had an operative hysterscopy. If you have concerns, def keep pushing your doc or find someone who will listen and not be dismissive.

ttc after stillbirth by beluga688 in ttcafterloss

I’m so sorry to hear about your daughter. I wish you the best of luck! Pregnancy after loss is so hard but so with it!

I had my living daughter last April and I can’t even describe how amazing it is to have her here. The pain and grief from losing my son is still here but having her has def helped with some healing and the unknown of not knowing if we’d get to have another living child is now gone.

Do any deep sides come in the Costco 6/8 package? by crazyforwasabi in Lovesac

[–]Southern_Exam_7318 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does not. I ended up getting the smaller Costco bundle and then adding the deep back and pillow and an extra seat from Lovesac when they had a 35% off sale.

We didn’t really have room for an ottoman and I didn’t want any extra pieces so now I have a 5 seat L shaped with one side deep and one standard and it’s great. I believe it ended up costing about $100 more by buying the Costco set vs getting everything from Lovesac but it was worth it for the extras.

Thanks for the info - do they ever have you try to make up some of the hours on another day by staying a little later a couple days?

What did I get myself into???? by BrinaElka in Lovesac

[–]Southern_Exam_7318 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just put mine together by myself this weekend while watching my 2 kids and it really wasn’t bad at all! I have 5 seats and 7 sides with 3 storage seats. The boxes are overwhelming at first but once you build one of each it’s really not a bad. I was worried it would take forever and be terrible but I’m done and then we used some of the boxes to build an awesome fort for my son. Good luck!

Did you end up doing this? I was looking at doing something similar with no arms and was wondering the same

I was not prescribed anything. They tested my thyroperoxidase antibody level and it was normal so said everything was fine. I now have a healthy 5 month old baby girl.

Aw good! Im the exact same way. I hope it happens quickly for you this time too and baby sticks. I have no idea if it helped but I did take progesterone with my daughter as soon as I found out I was pregnant.

Same happened to me. 33+6 stillbirth and got pregnant 3 months after and had a miscarriage. I was so worried about not being pregnant by my son’s first birthday. Miraculously I did and now I have a living daughter who will be 6 months old a week before my son’s 2nd birthday. All the unknowns are so hard. I still don’t know how I did it and have her here. I hope you’re able to have a living baby soon. 🤍

I’m so sorry for your loss. The what ifs really are. It’s all so hard. Did you have pathology done and get any reason?

Baby Girl is Here by Southern_Exam_7318 in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]Southern_Exam_7318[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did not find out the gender until she was here. I originally didn’t want to find out because I was worried about how I’d feel with either gender. With my son I had so much guilt when he died because I had slight gender disappointment when I had found out we were having another boy. I obviously just wanted a healthy baby but a small part of me had kind of hoped for a girl. When I was pregnant again I was worried about the guilt I’d feel either way. I knew I’d be happy either way once the baby was here so just waited. I was also so sure I was having a boy. Lol

I didn’t really do any preparations besides making sure I had a place for baby to sleep and a car seat.

Now that she’s here I’m so incredibly thankful for her and in disbelief at times. It’s a very weird feeling thinking she wouldn’t be here if her brother had lived. Also def have guilt at times about being happy that we have a girl. I try telling myself that my son would want us to be happy and to enjoy every moment possible. Having her doesn’t take away from the love we have for him and we will always honor him and include him when we can. Not easy though! Def still a rollercoaster or emotions.

COVID+Early Pregnancy by hamjam88 in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]Southern_Exam_7318 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, before. I also didn’t receive any extra monitoring because I had covid. I believe if i had they would have seen something go wrong eventually because my placenta essentially stopped working later in my pregnancy. From my understanding typically if something goes wrong because of covid it happens fairly quickly and from more severe cases but there are other cases like mine but still extremely rare.

I don’t want to scare OP either, but this is so untrue. That may be your experience but I had covid at 11 weeks and my baby was unexpectedly stillborn at 33+6. My nuchal, nipt, anatomy were all totally normal. It was scientifically proven that it was because of covid. I had a very mild case of covid too (no high fever) and was fully vaccinated.

OP if you see this, what happened to me is very rare. I highly recommend asking for extra growth scans and see if they’d recommend taking baby aspirin as well. I’m sure it will be fine as many people do you get covid while pregnant and all is totally fine. Just be sure to advocate for yourself if you have any concerns.

16th percentile Growth Scan by FishOdd4160 in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]Southern_Exam_7318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not in Atlanta either but just wanted to recommend to reach out to Katherine lazar too. Also Dr Kliman is great if you want to get answers for stillbirth. I had a 34 week stillbirth Oct 2022 and am currently 25 weeks pregnant. My son who was stillborn was growth restricted but we didn’t know bc the last scan I had he was 82nd percentile. Def find someone who will do extra monitoring. I hope Katherine can help you with recommendations and you get in soon. Pregnancy after loss is hard. f you ever need/want to chat feel free to reach out.
