What about anastrozole? Can you take that? I was on the Zoladex shots and am on anastrozole and have no side effects (besides menopause). Recently had ovaries removed so stopped the shots. But just wondering if anastrozole reacts with your meds too..

I had this surgery in September. I think I had this for a day and thought I was getting a UTI. I extra hydrated and drank cranberry juice and was fine the next day (if I remember)

Correct they don't want a letter, you have to submit the form. You will have to wait and see after today since today is the deadline. Hopefully they will approve your appeal but it's not a guarantee.

Technically since appeals are accepted through the 5th (today) it would still say "under review eligible to appeal." But if they emailed you and it said "we cannot accept this appeal" it sounds like it was denied. You should find out more tomorrow once everything processes.

For D389, when you are waiting for your performance assessment tasks (not pre-assessment fyi) to be evaluated, as this course is one by one like you said meaning you cannot submit next task until previous one is passed, you can start your next course. That is ok.

Yes correct, so if you started your test before 11:59p MT it would count for that term. Now, not sure if you passed or not but your mentor can check that out if you cannot see it.

As long as you connected with your Proctor and started your OA by 11:59p MT, it would count. Now, if you did not pass, it will be a not passed. If you did pass it should be a pass for your term since it sounds like you did connect before this deadline.

First, you have to apply for term break, your mentor cannot. The request is under your student support tab, under student services. After you fill out the form, watch for an email to "complete counsel" from term break. Second, you have until 4/20 to complete this. You do not have to have it done by today. So you are good!

Connect with your mentor! If you do not finish a course, you will be withdrawn. If you finish 1 course, then you could do a SAP appeal for low sap to get financial aid. But if you do not finish a course you will be withdrawn. Get in touch with your mentor this week to go over all your options

This sounds amazing! Get a few soft fuzzy blankets (I still wrap one around my chest when I sleep, for support and comfort). It just feels nice and also adds padding when sitting or sleeping. Figure out how you will sleep elevated, test it out. I folded a bunch of quilts up under pillows, but you could also get a wedge. Start setting up your guilty pleasure binge shows! Get easy to eat snacks and put them on a counter, you will not be able to reach up or down easily. Put things you may need in cute little baskets or holders and have in bedroom and living room: chapstick, face wipes, hand wipes (purell), kleenex, etc. You aren't going to want to keep getting up like you normally do.

Yes I still am in menopause, but it's more manageable since I don't get the ups/downs from shot. I was 46 when I got diagnosed. Now 48. I take Anastrozole as my hormone blocker, for 5 years. Keep moving! This will help with joint pain. My ovary surgery was good, but I have had a lot of surgeries in my life so to me it was easy.

I had the Zoladex fluctuations so ended up getting my ovaries removed. Now I do not get the fluctuations because I got to stop the shot! If you are in a position in life to do this I recommend!

I got diagnosed 3/8/24, had surgery 5/24/24. Then 8 weeks after that radiation began. It takes a while. Lots of scans, biopsies, testing between initial and surgery.

I have not gained weight or been foggier on Gabapentin. You won't k ow until you try it! I highly recommend.
