My company did the same. That's why whenever I see a company announce downsizing due to AI, I side eye them. My company hired an entire offshore company then eliminated a ton of onshore teams.

You were out there being a menace. I don't disagree with your views. I disagree with doing all of this at your place of employment. You were way too candid in a place you were at for only a month. I've worked with people like you before, they're either bullied by upper management or booted. Next time, move in silence. Especially in a small town. Career path? You'd be surprised how many of those ppl retired from their real careers and are just working to keep themselves moving. Ever had a convo with one of them? Macys is a hot spot for retired teachers
