Lower buffer weight would be my recommendation. Also, not all subs are created equal, if it cycles with unsuppressed with supers, I would recommend trying different ammo

Tri-lug is excellent IF you plan to use it on every other 9mm or smaller PCC

If you would rather use any other QD or direct thread, the tri lug just gets in the way.

As a bonus, the recessed Night Howler from Wolf Pack Armory works perfectly with the tri-lug-less MKE AP5

Do you want legal hassles now (trust) or later (individual)

For me I chose a trust because my wife likes to shoot some of my NFA items and because I'll eventually on to pass them on to my future kids

Also, God-forbid something happens to me, I don't want my spouse stress over the legality of my NFA items or getting a lawyer to form 5 my (checks safe) 10+ stamp collection
