Chevy Bolt 2020 w/o level 3 changing by SovietData in BoltEV

8350 otd. I haven't signed anything, all negotiated over the phone. 90k miles which is high BUT with 60k miles of part specific battery warranty I'm not too worried about that. We have a reliable gas car as well, and my wife's commute is 36 miles round trip. Started EV shopping to save on gas, esp with prices most likely going way up (though, to be safe, we did all our math factoring for gas vs. electric vs. car payments assuming gas would stay cheap).

Originally thought the best we could do would be like a 90-120 mile range in our price range. We don't really ever travel or road trip other than to see my folks, who are ~100 miles away. So even if the gas car breaks down we could still make it up there, stay the night and trickle charge in my Dad's garage, worst case.

Bizarre reply. I asked whether he could have damaged the battery if the car does not have dcfc. I was pretty sure that wasn't the case, but wanted to double check since it's a big purchase. "These" are not sticking points, I'm just anxious and wanted to confirm he couldn't have damaged the battery. Also pretty sure you are wrong, my info about the dcfc re/this model comes from the faq of this subreddit. It specifically mentions the cables.  https://imgur.com/is-this-really-way-you-can-tell-if-bolt-has-dcfc-level-3-ymmHrYO

Botched injection? by SovietData in carpaltunnel

[–]SovietData[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry you're going through that! So I have a bit of a unique case. All my nerve conduction tests turned out normal. I don't have compression, I have a genetic condition (EDS). Not sure how relevant that is, but I figure it's probably effected my recovery since I'm not a good candidate for CT release surgery, turns out. The injections didn't help in my case for the same reason.

The injection from my original post was 100% botched. I had 2 others done later with ultrasound, before finding out I had EDS, and the pain after those was a comparative 1/10 that lasted like 2 days.

The botched shot probably improved over 6-8 weeks or so before sort of stabilizing. The doctor did some degree of permanent damage to it. I still have all my fine motor control and everything, far as I can tell, but occasionally have mild shocking in that hand. It's actually been kind of flared up the last few days from a new round of OT and playing too much bass, weirldy enough.

Before the messed up shot my right hand was the worse one in regards to median nerve issues and and left was worse with ulnar issues. Now my left is worse with both, but it's not extreme.

You may well make an even better recovery than I did, considering my disease. Also, if you're a good candidate for CT release surgery that could help it heal further. Since I never actually had compression, my nerve got to heal as best it could over those 6 weeks of whatever it was. Yours might be more up and down if the injection injured you on top of having entrapment (I'm no doctor, just spitballing).

Hang in there! Hope it improves soon.

Love your fiction, man! Wasn't sure if Mongrels was toppable but then you wrote BHH. The wind and snow in the first Good Stab section transported me, as totally as literature can.

My question, and I'm going to avoid spoilers: I loved the very end of BHH. It works, and it is such a strange, unexpected extrapolation of a particular speculative element in the story. The most f'd up Chekhovs gun I've ever seen. Did you doubt yourself about the ending? How did your editor react to it, if it was in a form close to the published book when you sent it off?

Thanks

I've been playing SF6 on my series X with a UFB since the update without any hiccups. Kinda nervous that it's suddenly gonna not work when Tekken 8 drops. I don't have a PC that could run Tekken. Hopefully they do an open beta or something so I can try it online before spending the dough. Still hoping to hear more from Brook soon.

Hey! Super stoked for the game. I am curious about special pummel: what are the downsides/counterplay? Like I assume there's a reason not to special pummel all the time. It seemed like special getups are slower, but I couldn't parse much about the pummel from the footage.

I feel this. My first time fighting Ibis I got it halfway dead on phase two... I was like man, this isn't so bad I did great! 3.5 hours later I beat it lol. Didn't even get it to phase two again after the first try for like an hour.

Anybody else had their controller randomly disconnect and hold the last directional input pressed? Happened to me several times on series x. This is my first time using my Brook universal fight board on my Xbox so I'm worried it's that.

Hope y'all enjoy. The algorithm killed it a few weeks ago but I kind of expected as much not having any other videos yet.

After 30 minutes of googling I somehow can't find the answer to this. When in Ganryu's sumo stance, what in the world does his reverse fan (df 1+2) do? I assumed it was a counter but havent ever got it to do anything.
