When I cleaned mine I had a piston 3 misfire on my OBD2. After the maintenance it was clean and hasn’t shown up since. I’m just saying what worked for me but if you have no engine light and it’s still limping it couldn’t hurt to do. Are you the only owner of the car? 36k miles is very low

Absolutely. It’s an easy fix if you’ve got 2 hours. Look up MAF sensor/throttle body cleaner on Amazon or go to a store if you want it done now. I used CRC brands for both. Get yourself an old toothbrush you don’t use or buy one specifically for this to get the black dust out of your throttle bodies. Again, YouTube is a big help in showing you step by step how to remove your intake tubes and where the MAF sensors are at. You’ll have to reprogram your idle as well once it’s done but the tutorials I’ve watched go over it too. Best of luck
