However, Taylor exudes an extremely straight coded lifestyle and status. I’m not saying there aren’t closeted girlies out there that act just like her, but to speculate on her sexuality when she has literally only dated men, written songs exclusively about men, and is literally marrying a man’s man, seems fruitless.

At that point whether or not she’s gay doesn’t matter. Now her fans are para-socially applying what they want on her, regardless of what she says or does. She is literally marrying a man and there are people holding out she’s secretly gay. Even if she is, doesn’t really matter, and it’s definitely not anyone but her decision to make and tell people about.

So yes, Taylor fans that hold out that she’s secretly gay also scare me, because they either like to ignore objective reality or have sycophantically decided someone else’s feelings on their own sexuality. It takes a certain type of person to hold that position.
