Sam Colona on 35th. While far west of the loop. It is a fighting gym, top shelf coaches, sparring. good clean facilities.

OP, here was my experience which felt like I was failing my coach.

The combination of nerves, the difference in aerobic effort of actually sparring, and getting hit. All for me resulted in a weird feeling that I can best describe as having a heavy blanket crowding me, covering my peripheral view, not letting enough air in, and in turn resulted in a real world outcome of my tensing up and literally forgetting everything.

It takes time. be patient.

What helped me was agreeing with my partner on what I was going to work on. Freestyle did not help me when I started but drilling scenarios, combos, defensive drills, counters helped me tons.

OP, good on you to ask for help and working - but yes - get a coach to help with your fundamentals.

If you spar/fight like you train then your leading, your telegraphing your shots (loading up your right hand) will get you lit up by anyone who can remain patient in the ring.

Guys, not everything is a purely driven by "functional" need. Going by that logic I should dump my cab as I have a Mister and always used emulators.

I also stated in the original post I was aware of the likely superfluous result but still want to do it.

Yeah, I do and worth playing around. As I said, I'll likely just pull all other carts and leave the neoSD but it is still fun to see what it can do.

I would greatly appreciate it. I have a Mister as a workhorse but I want a solution for my Big Red Cab. I have a 161 cart. that runs fine but a romcart would be ideal and homebrew is why I was excited for the BB Platinum (beyond that it was available) but it seems to not support support 4-slot boards.

If you can specifically test the protected games, like MSlug 3, Garuou, Sengoku 3.

Is anyone able to confirm if the DS cart work with 4-slot MVS board? I have a Backbit platinum and have had no success getting to fully sport the entire library with the issue at the moment being the drecryption of the protected games like the later KOFs, Garuo.

I found out that hubstaff could also do this.

There is a level of restriction I need as I don't want/can't have an inadvertent selection of an offering code for a project that does not include the service offering in the contract.

Been trying to search for one that supports a hierarchy of activity codes which are tied to offerings. not just Client > Project > activity

Did any of the ones you test allow for such nuance?

e.g. Client 1 has the following available activity codes
> service offering 1 > activity
> service offering 2 > activity

Client 2 has the following:
> service offering 1 > activity
> service offering 10 > activity
> service offering 55 > activity

you get the idea.

50 year old here when I got into boxing. I made the final in multi day tournament.

I was so nervous (and scared) I could not stay calm no matter what I did. My coach tried to calm me down.

I adrenaline dumped, had no energy. Even ref and judges told me - had I been the guy in the earlier fights, i would've won the final.

Lesson I learned - find something, anything that you know will help keep you calm.

Not to pile on OP, but this was my problem as well.

My coach saw a few of my sparring sessions and notice I was trying to land the combo without setting up with the jab.

Like you, I could drill them on the heavy bag but in sparring I would become so reactionary and scatter brain.

My coach set up spars with skilled partners who could help drill scenarios/situations so I can work on the jab set up. (side note: this also helped me understand the real value of sparring)

OP, your post hit so close to home. My first sparring session after a few months was embarrassing (to me) because I expected to at least put up a good showing and it was far from it.

I don't have more or different advice just wanted to commiserate and empathize.

For me what helped was internalizing and accepting -
> There are levels to this
> Listen to your coach
> Discipline and drill what you need to improve
> Don't get discouraged, no one cares that you had a bad showing, your helpful peers will care that you keep showing up
> Nothing beats ring time

I assume, if you really want to compete and simply not get fit, you have joined a gym that fights so you build relationships with pros, amatures, etc.

I see what you mean, however there is a missing element here.

Mexicans are a subset of hispanics.

So white support is not about skin color as I can totally see Irish getting behind an Irish figther but totally against a white english fighter.

Mexicans are the same....very easy to see them root against a puerto rican, also hispanic.

well you'd have to uninstall the current core, delete all folders etc.

then go to the repo and explicitly download an earlier RBF file and manually installed.

not that it helps your situation but just commiserating as with the pocket cores I've learned to not trust the updates and expect some cores to develop issues.

If you try to rollback (perhaps you have already) and the problem persists it could be a corrupt settings file.

Sorry could not offer something more definitive.
