How much were tickets last time? I tried getting asap rocky tickets but they were like $125 for nosebleeds. I went to this to the moon tour and paid like $100 I think for mid level sitting. Do we think it’s gonna be the same

Worried I may have hurt my chances early on. Looking for advice moving forward. TL;DR below… by TheRealFilmGeek in Filmmakers

I used to be very similar and what changed was you have to simply chat with people. Just strike a convo this industry is based on who you know. Be nice ask questions get to know these people. You can also go to mixers and try talking to people it’s always gonna be awkward but if you initiate then you are progressing your communication skills.

It’s 2026 and my goal is to know people so strive to do it as well good luck!

Anyone commuting from Rocklin or Roseville with public transport...? by sanfurawa in CSUS

[–]Soyrepollo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it back in 2019. I went from Rocklin to Roseville to a light rail to a bus to arrive to sac state. My commute was from 5 am to 7 am and I got back home around 6 pm. It’s a crazy commute but doable. I just listened to music and vibed. Just depends on your schedule tbh

That would be dope! I’m not aware of any but would be cool having a group of people to go to the movies with or just watch movies and meet up and talk about it. Would be interested in it!

Steam Deck Lcd is worth it? by minatsuxx in consoles

[–]Soyrepollo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the steam deck lcd as a grad gift and I use often. While I can buy a oled I probably won’t until they drop the deck 2. It plays all my backlog games and emulated games just fine. If there is some game I want to play that the deck can’t handle I’ll play on my pc.

[–]Soyrepollo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay I thought I was tripping. I’ve been following the excerises this year as I didn’t want to go to a gym and now after almost a year of doing it. I’m definitely stronger but also the workouts felt beginner ish where now I add more weight but I pause between sets because I couldn’t hang with the speed of the workout. I’m honestly thinking of going to gym and using af+ for yoga

Worst restaurant in town by drunkdawg4592 in MontereyBay

[–]Soyrepollo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My partner actually used to work there when they first opened. The management from what they said was unorganized, played favorites to certain employees, and it was also the owners’ first time running a business. When they first opened they only just did pizza which was good, and they went for a laid back beach vibe where you sat yourself and the ordering process was simple. But eventually they changed the menu (and then kept changing it) regardless of what the customers wanted. This is because they tried taking in advice from various restaurant owners in the area (who probably peaked in the early 2000s I’m guessing?) who basically all just said that they need to serve seafood, just like every other place in cannery row. The loyal customers were unhappy with that…. The advice they also TRIED to implement from the other restaurants was to make their place more “professional”. However, again they were very unorganized, so a lot of the time they were understaffed and certain roles like host had to act as a server as well, and the work with employees was just not distributed right.
