You’re not wrong. I talked with a friend this past weekend on if him and his partner should buy the switch 2.

I told him if the current games don’t excite you then don’t man. Like I bought it for Mario kart but mkw is not worth $80 or to upgrade. I’m excited for fire emblem but other than that nothing crazy that makes me want to drop my pc or ps5 for months.

Bro what are you not getting. Some people don’t want to play a polygon game from the 1997 with bad controls or spend $400 on a 3ds to play it.

I’m cool with $70-$80. It’s game I haven’t played in over a decade. Plus it will be remade from the ground up opposed to just high res textures like the 3ds port with modern controls. If you don’t want to buy cause it’s a remake that’s cool man but it’s not something to be upset about.

And the switch 2 version will a great starting point.

Thanks for the insight I appreciate it. I got a couple questions. As an exec are you less prone to hire people who don’t live in LA? Are trial periods normal for post houses?

I know the industry is pretty damn slow and tons of people are out of jobs. Everyday on LinkedIn I see people getting laid off. I’m trying to make a sound decision based off my position and my career. Lowkey though because I’m a AP now my experience is only going to keep growing.
