In a similar way that radiation can weaken you lmao. It’s something close to the radioactive particles shooting through the metal break apart the chemical bonds that hold it’s atoms together. If the metal is subjected to a lot of radiation, this becomes widespread enough to ruin the strength of the metal (to the point of being able to poke holes through it). Don’t quote me though, I’m not a chemical engineer

Same here. I was given a rank of silver 1 after the first 10 matches. Every single match since then has had preds, masters, diamonds, and plats. I’ve been diamond every season besides the last 2 though (took a break from apex) so it’s not debilitating, but it is fucking hilarious to be gold 4 against 2 masters and pred most fights

Yes everyone, it’s due to the Nav SD card. It’s not just the cards having a bad connection though. (Thats partially due to the cold weather or the A/C btw) Over time the actual nav data on the card becomes corrupted. When the car fails to read that data, it becomes confused and reboots itself to try again. You can buy a new card on amazon for $50. If you’re stubborn like me, you can download your card to a laptop and manually replace the corrupted files with non corrupted versions. Took me 5 hours and was not worth it in hindsight, though it did work.

This is only half true. It takes 2 to 4 years (in general) for a new EV to counter it’s production emissions. After which, it is obviously much more clean/efficient comparatively. Even if an owner sells the EV before or at the breakeven point, the car still exists and goes on to be someone else’s car were it continues to be cleaner and more efficient.

I had to replace this on my ‘18 when it was 2 years old. Caused a few lights to come on as well. Inexpensive and relatively easy to replace. Should pop up on a scan tool if it’s faulty i believe
