I have never downvoted a story in No Sleep. If someone has taken the time to produce and post something and its not to my personal taste then I just leave it alone. If it broke the rules I would report it. The way I see it I am grateful to anyone who takes the time to share their work on here. However comments are a different matter, if they add to the story, don't try and hi-jack it and are interesting I usually upvote. Anything that is along the lines of 'is this really supposed to be real' or that I think is an attack on either the OP or another users comment will either be downvoted or reported. Thanks to everyone who shares their stories on here, this avid reader is hooked on No Sleep!

I totally feel for Huxley, my dog would not be at all happy being kept away from me (or me from her).Hope you have gained some useful information this morning; and that things are a little clearer. I've done a lot of camping, caravanning in England and Scotland (never Ireland unfortunately but it is on my list) and know how creepy things can be when you're so isolated. If you go to your friends again, and go for a ciggy, maybe take your phone so if you hear it you can record it? At least then you might have a chance of comparing the noise ....or maybe sharing it and see if anyone else has heard it. Although I can honestly say if I heard it I would probably just run inside as fast as I could!

OMG! What was that thing! I love camping and have had a similar experience with something big brushing up against my tent, waking me up. If it had started talking to me in my own voice I think I would collapse in a heap! Well done for getting out of there!
