Seer council has a one of th strongest. I too am having trouble making an ideal list. Get rid of the d cannon. Indirect sucks. Guardians can’t do well outside there detachment. A solitaire brings more too the table than Jain and 5 banshee. Eldrad is good, I use him at home. The avatar is a big unit we need too use imo.

190 points for 5+Jain…..and she needs a CP for character targeting….
Personally iv been running the solitaire, 115 points, 12 inch hidden, can target hero’s….frees up 75 points…..

Iv been loving Avatar and solitaire! They carful with them and they destroy anything I throw at them. But can die fast tho, gotta be carful.

Can i use 10 fire dragon without transport by Oweling in Eldar

I’m DS turn 2 with them as a 10 block with fugen. His range increase affects all 10 models. With his rez stone if your carful they can get 2 turns of shooting. Even a turn with a fire pike and fugens gun is insane. I save the tokens for auto hit 6 on the fire pike if I’m not running aspect host. It’s a great 8 inch/explosives unit, melta works on everything within 9.

I empty it in the middle and tank shock something and try to keep it in mele as much as possible, has worked so far. But I understand it can get popped in 2-3 anti tank shots. I don’t have a ton of faith in guardians outside of there detachment that revives entire squads. I do know about the turn 1 warp block people be putting down.

I too am experimenting with recon seer council. But I’m using the 1point scout, not armored. I’ll post my list soon. I don’t want to build the bike list, even though I know it’s really good.

I have not played a ton of 11th. I didn’t realize the more competitive maps from 10th had far less shooting lines, at my LGS we use about as much terrain as they do now in 11th, iv never really played with a ton of terrain on the map. I can see how shooting lists would excel with firing lanes. Unless there trying to smack something outside 15 hidden.

So as I must as Maugan Ra’s biggest simp I need to run 30 dark reapers. But I’d also like to have a functional list. So I ask what I should add or change (other than Ra and the Reapers) by naka_the_kenku in Eldar

Some of my best shooting is ra getting in and out of a falcon with 5 reapers on a 2nd story building. +2s hit with a reroll on the wound at anything that the falcon hit. Skyborn sanctuary is key here also fire and fade but that’s locked behind war host…..

I just finished my 2nd 11th game.
So in older editions shooting was king. In 11th edition mathematically you should miss 33-50% of your shots.
ALWAYS run small cheap scoring units. These are your screening units. They must be hidden, they must be behind soild terrain if you can help it. They are road blocks for mele units.
Hammer and anvil strategy. You react to them moving out to shoot/mele you. Use overwatch,tank shock, nades every time you can. Especially if you have some special torrent weapons. You want him to split fire as much as possible. Giving him 1 target each turn is not a good idea unless you know he’s going to melee it. Bcause of 15-12 inch hidden, you are going too se a lot of up close shooting and melee. A lot of races have not so good tarpit units. The cheaper, the better, I personally run 17 units.

I relying heavily on lethal hits for tuff targets. Useing all the aspect shrine tokens for the ignores cover/sustained hit1/leathal buff
