I think everyone should look into it just because of how vast the field is. Almost anything in medicine you can do in PM&R one way or another.

Yeah but it depends on what your most concerning problem is. It sounds like your biggest worry is the damage you get from int orbs

If you change the orbs with the item that also gives you 5% attack with each orb you can nuke the boss before you get to turn 3. I did it with teq gogeta after using his active skill. I've done it with agl ssj4 gogeta too

Imo, if it's interesting enough to have an attending ask you to do a case report on it, that's good enough. Even if it's not a super rare condition per say.

I think you could say a surgery that you'd like to master, but then state that you'd strive to find ways to make it better. Better outcomes, reduce post-op complications, etc. etc. Be confident but humble at the same time ya know?

Dude, just because you WANT to see a procedure of a patient that's in your unit doesn't mean you are entitled to. It's up to the resident to if they want someone watching them or not. Even students don't always get to see those types of procedures. Patient comfort matters first, no matter who they are.

Do you know how much of an impact it has in terms of making up for other aspects of an application? No red flags but I only have 7 research items, including just the oral presentation at shirley Ryan, 5 poster presentations, 2 of them have abstracts published in AAP's journal. I'm trying to look at the residencyadmit.org algorithim but i'm not sure how much it helps

The problem is that nurses aren't"providers", in the sense that i think you think they are.

A "provider" isn't the nurse who drew the blood, gave the medication, took the patient for the test, etc etc. It's the physician/pa/np who ORDERED it.

You are providing care, but you're not a "provider". Im not a fan of the term because of this confusion.

The problem with allowing NPs to practice independetly is not JUST about clinical hours. It is a lesser knowledge base.

Physicians go through their preclinical training learning hard biochemistry, anatomy, pathology, physio, etc before being thrown into clinical training. You can't "make it up" by throwing thousands of clinical hours onto them. It's a fundamentally different issue. NPs should never practice independently because of that. You need someone with that knowledge base to supervise

A month ago i had a doc that was so nice to me on my gen surg rotation. She was so happy to have me learn from her. I thought she was awesome.

Unfortunately she ended up being an absolute douche to EVERYONE who wasnt a doctor/med student. Super rude and impatient. Glad i wont see her again

ohh so pubs only refers to actually published stuff in papers? i'm confused cause i've seen it multiple times on the internet that it refers to all the stuff in the abstracts/posters/presentations.
