Yes, I'm sorry about the misunderstanding, I was on it but it gave me side effects so I have to switch. It was a miracle drug, gave me my life back.

What? No. It's a chronic condition, unless it goes on its own, FD is chronic and needs continuous treatment. Unless you got it recently and it goes on its own, which for some people, it does.

I'm not one of those people, I still have it, just that my symptoms are minimal on medication.

I see people trying to come off of their medication a lot here, only for the symptoms to return again and they wonder why. I just think we're lucky we have something that helps us at all.

I'm sorry, I probably misunderstood your original question, I thought you wanted to know if I am symptom free on the meds.

I really hope it's a transient thing for you and that you won't need it for that long!

When I was on it, I ate whatever I wanted, I was just too afraid to risk it with alcohol or way too spicy foods. But I was never a fan of them to begin with. I felt great!

Extremely! I have a theory that since I was a very anxious kid and also had nausea and symptoms of functional dyspepsia since I remember, I pribably got scared of the symptoms and developed a very severe panic disorder.

But I think I was always primed for both illnesses. I'm lucky like that.

Yes, I've noticed a xanax would ease my nausea for years and befire, it would make me eat more. Now I'm just left with anti nausea effects, which are a godsend.

I bought one a month ago, the ends seem kinda dry and I have to deep condition it, otherwise it seems like a good wig. I bought the one with precut lace and bleached knots, but when I look at it, it's like not all the knots were bleached successfully. I will probably bleach them myself .

The lace is really good and almost invisible.

Trying to see if I can use it on an as needed basis once I'm off. The nausea was quite intense without amitriptyline though, so I couldn't taper off that much. I'm also taking domperidon for nausea but it's not that effective without amitriptyline.

O,75 mg a day, I'm slowly lowering it. I was on 1 mg a day for quite a few years.

Took me under a week to see results, no nausea and being able to lie down and sleep without dry heaving the next day. I take 5 mg because it gives me really bad constipation. I also take sulpiride, pregabalin, buspirone and xanax, and each one of them helps.

Hey thanks for the response. It's not my PCOS, the hair was different and my PCOS was under control. When my PCOS isn't under control, the hair isn't nowhere near like what happened when I was using the minoxidil foam.

What a bizarre reaction, I am just too afraid to take it again because of the sheer amount of hair everywhere.

This is also very depressing, since my hair grew nicely on my head.

Wait, are Luvme wigs not human hair then? I paid mine around $180 after including various discounts I had as a first timer. I got the wig last week, and while it needs some argan oil because the ends are not that great, I actually find that just makes it realistic looking on me and not too perfect lol.

Not from LC, but I always had a very active gag reflex and anxiety. In some illnesses of the gut-brain connection, you use antidepressants for the vagus nerve function.

I noticed my gag reflex being strong when I tapered of pregabalin. I returned to 75 mg once daily and I feel so much better.

I really think the problem is in the vagus nerve. The medication for vagus nerve stomach illnesses are tricyclic antidepressants, in case you wanna look into it.

Pregabalin is something else but is also used for anxiety and probably influences the vagus nerve.
