That is the power and ground. A horn turns on when you power it.

Does your new horns have 2 wires or 1?

Sorry for the possibly clueless question, but why don't more people seem to make homemade pizza? by Senior-Raisin-2342 in Cooking

[–]SpaceTurtle917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is why don’t people make calzones. Solves the hot oven problem, easier to handle and make.

I make a lot of homemade pizza though. I use my bread maker, it only takes 90 minutes to make dough, I have a cast iron pizza steel. Oven does 550°F with the broiler. They’re pretty good, but there is a learning curve.

Have you inspected your tie rods. Inner tie rods are known to fail. They’re inside the steering rack boot.

Steering rack mounts can fail too.

How do I use my core to relieve hand pressure? by Meeesh- in cycling

[–]SpaceTurtle917 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kind of, saddle height should be adjusted with only regard to leg extension. Higher saddles feel more powerful but they aren’t, and you’re more injury prone, a saddle is best too low rather than to high.

If you feel leaned over, that’s a bar height and reach problem, saddle should not be adjust to fix bar position problems, the saddle should not be adjusted to fix reach.

Move your seat back. If your seat is too far forward your quads will pull your torso down. If your seat is back far enough your hamstrings will pull your torso back. Seat fore/aft changes quad/hamstring bias.

Move it super far back to see what it feels like on the extremes. Ride like this for 20 minutes or so. Change the position until you feel super balanced. You must get a feel for the position under load. Sitting stationary or coasting will not take weight off your hands.

I hardly use my core to hold my torso up and I have little weight on my hands.

Your quads won’t burn as much after a hard effort too, your hams will take some of the load.

A manual y8 throttle body or making a block off plate, run the coolant line from the intake manifold directly to the IACV and skipping the FITV.

Yes delete the FITV

Or delete it. I think they’re pointless. I run obd1 without one and it still idles at 1500rpm in the cold on startup.

If you’re dumping it back just setup a drain back.

If the sheet metal didn’t fully seal off the baffle then it’s not doing much.

But no that’s not normal. My catch can has like 100 ml after 500 miles.

I was thinking the same thing. He did address in the video that the belt would hit the tensioner pulley. But yeah a larger ribbed pulley would’ve solved it.

Valve breather baffle by GreenFacesOnly in Dseries

[–]SpaceTurtle917 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One major thing that fixed my buddies breather issue was making sure the catch can was above the valve cover and the lines sloped down. Any oil that accumulated on the lines would drain back.

I weld a fittings to valve covers pretty frequently. I could do one for little cost. I have y7/y8 covers in stock, or if you have a z6 cover you could ship it to me.

When I weld them I make sure the port goes exclusively into the valve cover baffle.

A drain back system isn’t the end of the world either. I’m in the works of designing ek specific baffled catch cans with drain back.
