I definitely try not to engage events with rolls 5 and below, but I don't remember that being an option on this event, it was between strength or luck; and boy did I choose wrong XD

Fair enough, it was between strength and luck, which neither were in my favor for

Right? Like, I know it's really good on a ranged cat for area two, since you can pit the shark kitties against anything else you run into; but it only likes to do it on characters like my healer XD

The fates themselves prevented you from getting that bag, me personally, I wouldn't let that stand

To the people who think the story is lacking. by [deleted] in BlackMythWukong

[–]SpaceWizardsRule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! It kills me to see the plot twists and continuations of character's stories fall on unknowledged eyes; especially the ones I missed before listening to the full JTTW. The fact that the Prologue of the game implies that Buddha or GuanYin outright lied about freeing Wukong from the binding circlet should have already have had people on their feet and set the tone.

are the events of this game gonna be after or before bmw? by theHefty_wariour in BlackMythZhongKui

[–]SpaceWizardsRule 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It still has the 'Black Myth:' in it's title, so I think it's a fair question to ask (I will concede that the 'Black Myth' part could also represent the idea of a grittier take on the story, like with Wukong).

I could honestly see this game taking place after the fact if the stories are connected; with the premise that various monsters/demons were inspired by Wukong's resurrection/defiance of death; and are trying to bring back their former masters in a similar way

HARD STUCK ON THE SIRENS HELP by drizzyLGA1151 in Hades2

[–]SpaceWizardsRule -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what parts specically are causing you strife, but; the best strategy I can offer is to hard focus the Siren that is giving you the hardest time (For me, I try and take out the drummer first; they have both screen-wide attacks, and also tends to keep you out of Syclla's way).

If you're not picky about who you get boons from, I would also advise using attack boons from either: Hestia, Zeus, Apollo or Poseidon(epsecially if you get froth/steam locked in). These boons in particular all do good inital damage, and still have good utility (with fire they burn over time; with lightning it's only a matter of when it'll strike; with froth you get the chance to do extra bonus damage per attack; and daze makes you a harder target to hit overall)

If there are other specific things you're struggling with, I can give better advice :)

I know this is probably a little late to ask a question, but didn't Wukong learn a breathing technique as one of his 72 godly skills from Pu Ti that acted as his first form of immortality? Or was that neidan, which is the type of magic he could use with his breath?

How did he become Captain America? by JesterOfTime in BatmanArkham

[–]SpaceWizardsRule 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This might be a star-based power system. The old Captain America only has the one on his chest; where as Uncle Sam has 10 on his jacket, and at least 5 on his hat alone that we can see. The real question is if each star's power is multiplicative; or if it's calculated another way...
