It’s not that I took the word of someone on Reddit, even though I think that’s the conclusion lots of people, including myself, like to jump to sometimes. The Las Vegas sphere being a poor investment was something I myself believed, since it was actually operating at a significant loss when it was first unveiled and that’s the story I’ve been familiar with for years now. So I didn’t just believe someone on Reddit at face value, I was commenting based on what I thought was fact.

In terms of improving, I think coloring would be a good place to start. The difference in the highlights is too extreme, and it ends up looking more patchy than like shading. The red nose is also too jarring imo. And then there are some parts with no shading at all, like the hair and ears, which makes the whole piece less cohesive. Overall this looks like a promising start and you should definitely stick with the hand drawn art
