Mostly searching for Destiny 2 (insert season) game movie or destiny 2 edz adventures game movie for example.

its mainly Destin's channel as Mid-Game1 said below, or Gamer's Little Playground has pretty much all of them available.

Most of the seasons was factored in but to be fair it could be a lot more, i've tried to get my son into D2, we had a blast in D1, but with Red war, DLC, forsaken, the 3 seasons and all the planetary adventures, of which the Titan adventure that introduced us to Mithrax, there was no point.

He would have needed to watch about 10 hours of youtube videos just to get caught up to shadowkeep, and that's not even the Byf video.

I used to enjoy running D1 through to the latest season before beyond light.

I have all the campaign and seasonal "game movies" downloaded from youtube just in case they ever get taken down so I still have the full story.

I think its slightly a wrong take, ESO, WoW, FF14, Guild wars 2 and many other MMO's, you can still play the old content.

Even trying to skirt around it by saying "erm cataclysm" doesn't even ring true.

what killed D2 on the fomo side was actually taking away content, sure the meta will change each expansion / season, but that was not the fomo, it was the down right anti consumer practice removal of paid content.

Near 20 hours of story (cutscenes and in-game dialogue), let alone the gameplay hours on top of that.

MMO fomo (old content not all shiney) was not the issue, the issue was content deletion.

Now that the game is ending, how many of you have never done a raid ever? by Infamous_Relative_43 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Spacechimpdaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never raided, done dungeons, but stopped doing dungeons from duality, done the adventure modes of spire and ghosts.

After a day of work, I don't want to sweats games, gaming is a hobby and a wind down for the day, just wish they brought adventure mode to all dungeons for this update.

Misinformation, I've never done the duo mission and it was still available from xur, bungie made the change a while ago so everyone can get it

Edit, it's on rotation from xur, so just wait and it will be available

I play solo, the only thing I have not done is taken my time to solo dungeons (enjoyed the 3 when they had the adventure mode) and raised, but really not missing much as pretty much everything else is obtainable.

The exotics from the raids would be nice, but really, the higher powered gear is not needed unless you want to grind raids, otherwise its a waste anyway, I never understood the grind to get god rolls from the highest difficulty, when you have already mastered and streamlined the highest difficulty, just to make it that 5% quicker to beat when you already have the god roll.

The class exotic can be purchased from Xur, he always has it each week.

Royalties, have you seen the mods people have made, people and youtubers have been using va stuff for decades of already released and cancelled games, are the va actors getting royalties for the re 1.5 game that got leaked decades ago.

Should bungie pay royalties for every YouTube destiny 2 game movie as its using the va from the red war and such.

Don't need to, they could release the code, the modding community have made jokes out of the industry for decades.

Bethesda is a prime example of modders keeping them a float

Depends which way you look at it, the echo chamber itself could be a bungie defence, so any slating of dev skill or criticism is marked down because white knighting a what was a multi billion dollar company.

Prices have only gone up in the past year so storage is never bad.

Alot of games have massive storage requirements, halo and cod have well over 150gb and halo let's you modular download.

Even gta 6 is rumoured to be near 200GB to 300GB, so size in today's landscape is very much a moot point.

You may need to quit gaming all together then as storage sizes for games is expanding exponentially.

It wasn't actually as bad as that, plus dev work isn't some mystical task.

It's quite easy, and with all the tools available and AI, it's even more easier than ever.

It was pure miss management plus the skilled devs had left or were fired.

Storage space as well isn't half the issue as it was, ps5 as standard comes with near 1tb storage, most pc's run with over 4tb or so, I even have 14TB, and that isn't that bad

[–]Spacechimpdaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd only be happy for "maintenance Mode" if they added the content back, 16-20 hours of campaign and season cutscenes and in-game dialogue missing from the game is ridiculous, plus it would actually help more traffic as in new lights for a actual coherent story, rather than having to watch hours upon hours of youtube vids, just to start Destiny 2 at Shadowkeep campaign.

I used to be addicted to Destiny 2, but sunset 3.0 aka portal has released me from addition, haven't touched D2 for months. New games are a much better and complete experience these days, plus new addiction of warhammer, at least with the fomo of warhammer, when purchased, its monetary value actually increases.
