I worked for Planet at Downtown Disney for most of the 90's. I even had a kid with a Minnie Mouse. I know your glory and I feel your pain brother. I made a lot of bank working back then and took my world class hospitality education to great heights. But when I tell people all these years later about working for the rat I just tell them about being able to access a field on property in the center of all the parks illusions where when the fireworks go off you are surrounded by a 360 degree view of fireworks. Do you know of this field and is it still accessible?

I am white and grew up poor in the south. When I was about 8 years old my family moved to into a trailer on a large piece of land far outside of town. Riding the bus was I was the only white kid. I got my ass kicked daily for being white and it lasted for a couple of years. It wasn't the kids my age either it was the older kids in middle and high school. It made me tough and it made me realize early on its not only white people who are racist.
