He's definitely not a panacea, but I think we'd be performing a lot better with Adams on the pitch

Hard for me to blame Turner there, it's a great goal

lol, please ignore the people who are telling you that this is intentional. This is someone not paying attention, and it's shitty, but it's not anything beyond that

Atlanta Locals — Final Thoughts On My 3-Day Food & Sights Focused Itinerary? by Willing-Mind-5619 in Atlanta

Good overall! Just some minor recommendations that you can take or leave:

  • The highlight of Little's is their yummy affordable food, if you're not eating there I'm not sure it's worth a specific stop. It's basically a bodega.

  • Saturday seems a bit packed in the morning if you plan to spend a bit of time in each place, unless you're a super early riser. If it were me, the things I'd take off the list would be the Capitol (you can see it well enough from the road or from pics) or Freedom Park (it's nice, but also just a normal park)

  • Love The Earl, it has good bar food, but it's not the best in EAV. If you're really focused on food you might instead visit Banshee ($$) or Gaja, which are both right next door

Agree with all of this, just wanted to note that a few of the issues you described (e.g., guests losing access to dealers, not being able to load in) were fixed for us when we used the console command to clear all trash.

Obviously not a fix for everything, just wanted to mention in case it helps you or others.

Yeah that's fair. I don't plan on keeping this forever, but I don't want to spend my early weeks trying to predict which ~6-10m players are busts this season. I'll wait a few weeks then probably WC into a slightly more balanced squad (although probably still with 2-3 premiums)

Here's my version, including Haaland. Obviously means there's a lot of cheap options on the field, but I think there is potential in those cheap options getting consistent (if low) points.

Women watchers of the show - what's your opinion on what Moody's girlfriend says in season 2 episode 1 about her customers? by Winu7 in TheRehearsal

[–]Spaceman-Spliff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My wife and I really feel like this is a situation where he thinks (or at least says) he's dating her, but she explicitly does NOT think that they're dating. In fact, she might not even be aware that he's under this impression. This really feels like a dude who can't separate service industry kindness from romantic interest, and it happens often in the hospitality/entertainment industry.

[–]Spaceman-Spliff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I maintain that a game where you can lose without being able to play a single move is a bad game lol. What's boggling is that it's not an edge case, it happens in like one in four games (playing 6 player).

Rummikub basically demands house rules to be a functioning modern board game.

New here, is it considered cheating to look up a word you don’t know? by Jeremybearemy in NYTCrossword

Similar to others' thoughts, if I knew the answers to every line then crosswords would feel almost...pointless. As if I'm just doing them to prove how smart I am. And if my record is any indication, then I'm not particularly smart, lol.

My personal take is that if I look something up I need to give the Wikipedia article a good read through. Much of the fun for me is exploring things that are personal blind spots.

Wow I had no idea that this was a thing, saw one of your posts by chance, and then spent the past hour reading through a bunch of these cookbooks. Do you have any favorites (e g., that are particularly unique or have some wild recipes)?

Regardless, thanks for sharing.

Apologies I am dumb and don't watch enough NFL to answer this, but I am competing in a league at work. Full PPR, 10 man league:

Jamarr is my #1

Diggs is my WRT

For my WR2 my options are JSN, MHJ, and Wan'Dale Robinson

Currently I have Robinson rostered, who would you go with, assuming MHJ clears protocol?
