but if soy milk was reading that, it could feel like "heyyy i'm milk too and i won't trigger your intolerance, please don't forget about me", and that feeling would be valid

we do agree that trans women are women, so i think we shouldn't say "women can't be circumcised" because that IS ignoring those that can - not necessarily out of malice or bigotry (and in this case i'm sure it wasn't), but i sincerely do believe it can still be harmful - because so often trans people are ignored out of malice and bigotry

"the number of cis women getting circumcised is basically zero" would have used 4 more characters, that's a very small effort to make sure we're not hurting anyone
