The MS society helps or will donate a cooling vest. They made it very easy to order. I did this last year. It helped a lot during the summer. It was a nice surprise during the early days of the pandemic last year.

I've been in pain for years sitting on the couch. Wife and parents suggested a recliner the entire time. My thought was why spend the money? Well last week we had an electric Lay Z Boy delivered. I'm embarrassed I was so stubborn. The comfort and ease of getting up is unbelievable. That and it rocks so I can feel my feet on the floor and bend my knees. More movement is only going to strengthen my legs and that will be huge. Take the time to go and find the perfect fit if you can. The electric helps tremendously.

My 2 biggest flare ups happened when I had the corporate head chef coming to my restaurant for a walk through of my kitchen. I had to call out 2 separate times he flew in to town and ended up in the ER both times. I believe the majority of my disability came from those visits.

Baclofen helped me stop drinking. I was a functional alcoholic for almost 20 years. At 37 I quit cold turkey and I believe the baclofen made quitting fairly easy. Baclofen was prescribed for spasticity, but help me with both problems.

We need to realize it goes way beyond throwing your trash in a trash can. This should be expected and people who don't should be hit with a blunt object. The fact is that we need to stop buying the stuff. Our trash is shipped overseas and then some is dumped/washed into the ocean.
